Nephrite

[14:42] <Nephrite> roll 1d100
[14:42] <Penuche> Nephrite invokes Penuche's magic: < 1 > [d100=1]

Oh boy.

Anastasia

You go on a ways before you come to a break in the ground - a chasm going straight down into the depths, plunging downwards. Past this chasm, about 50ft long, the path continues on, no sign of further collapse or chasms beyond it.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Well, if we're going deep, let's go deep." Moore says as he flies over the edge to start going down. Thankfully, they can all easily see in the darkness, so this won't be too troublesome!

Anastasia

It goes down quite a long ways, farther than you can easily see.

No matter, they will proceed downwards!

Anastasia

As you begin to fly down the chasm, "Foes lurk in the shadows," Kaja warns, "Listen."

Take 10 for 92 on perception!

Also as a reminder they do have all-around vision.

Anastasia

You see them. The shadows move. Flickers of black things, solid and stony and glassy. Lizard like, crawling the walls with the occasional flicker of fire. They're not large, rather resembling shocker lizards in size and energy discharge, only with fire instead.

"Flamer lizards...?" Moore murmurs quietly as they go along.

"If they attack us, we'll try and drive them off. Otherwise just ignore them."

Anastasia

Kaja grimaces, blades drawn.

Xandra eyes them, "Hurry," she says in a single word, flying down faster, almost in a free fall.

Down. Down you plunge, down and down and own. The lizards grow thicker on the walls, the party watched as they descend down. A hundred pairs of eyes are on you at all times, your descent seen.

Eventually you come to the bottom, which is a barren, broken chasm. Lizards are everywhere here, thick and relentless. Your superior vision lets you note something. At points where the floor is thin and worn away, a different type of stone can be seen. A pale white-gray stone, worked rather than natural.

Moore gestures down at the floor.

"I don't know what that is, but it very well may be the 'lost house' we're looking for." He says to the others. "Let's see if there's a way in other than just blasting a hole in the top of it and disturbing all the lizards."

Anastasia

"If it is, fortune favors us beyond any measure," Jetina says, "Let's carefully look around and hope the lizards don't attack?"

"Be gentle," Xandra warns, "Be quick as well."

Kaja checks his blades, "Can we bypass the ground entirely?"

"If we need to." Moore says. "But let's see if we spot anything around here, first."

With that, he starts towards the south to see if the worked stone floor changes at all, or if he can spot anything resembling something other than just the floor they're seeing.
