"...What in the world...?" Moore blinks as he continues along, looking for magic again. "Is it possible that the tower and its the inanimate objects in it got transferred and left the people? Or..." Moore frowns. "Maybe the people all just... didn't make it all the way."

[Anastasia]

No new magic in this room.

"There were deaths here, many deaths," Xandra says, "The people here didn't make it. Something went wrong when the tower appeared here," she says, "Can you hear their screams, Moore?"

[Nephrite]

Moore shakes his head, but he does stop to listen, now.

[Anastasia]

You can her faint voices, lamentations only half understood.

"Yes." Moore says. "Maybe we can do something about it, if there are souls or something more still trapped here."

He proceeds onwards!

"We have to," Jetina says, "No, we can't leave them suffering."

[Nephrite]

"We'll figure something out." Moore says. "It might take an hour for my magic to come back, but we'll figure something out."

[Anastasia]

"Do you want to rest elsewhere until then?" Xandra speaks up, "We may need to be at full ability if this is a dire situation."

[Nephrite]

"Well, we can't go back up." Moore says. "Although..."

He leans down to pick up one of the arrows and experimentally tries to plane shift it to The Astral.

Teleporting with it? It requires you to go with the touched object.

No, he wants to teleport just the arrow. Is that not possible?

If not, then... hmm. He wants to see what happens if an object is teleported / plane shifted / whatever, and doesn't want to go with it in case of shenanigans.

If that isn't possible I have an idea, so let me know.
