Take 10 on 107 for K:A and 102 for Spellcraft, he'd like to see what kind of magic is at work here!

The elementals are bound to serve. It's a remarkably powerful bond, no sign of expiring anytime soon. The anvil's also enchanted to move the liquid volcanic glass to the anvil, but everything else is the elementals.

[Nephrite]

Would a sufficiently powerful enough dispel magic break it, or would it require something more specialized, i.e. finding the wizard.

[Anastasia]

An extremely powerful spell could do it, sure.

[Nephrite]

Going to use the epic Spellcraft DC to identify the caster of it, if that is possible.

[Anastasia]

Nothing.

Which means it was an item or similar thing that cast the spell.

[Nephrite]

Would he know enough about magic stuff to know if a ring of Elemental Command for Earth would do the trick in this case?

[Anastasia]

Not a default one, no. This is something strong.

[Nephrite]

"Does this wizard have a name?" Moore asks. "I think we can remove this from you, but ideally I'd like to just find them and have them undo it entirely."

[Anastasia]

"Yalgur," Is the answer.

[Nephrite]

Take 10 on K:P or whatever's appropriate for 107! Maybe I know that name! Maybe!

And maybe he is totally dead. We'll find out!

It doesn't ring a bell. It likely means it's an obscure wizard, someone unimportant or a fake name.

Well, it's not the second one...

He takes a breath and decides to see if the past has anything useful to tell him!

This will assuredly not work, but he's going to use Hindsight here.

For reference, Moore gets 33 years. 33 weeks won't be enough time, so alas:

Years: You gain a general idea of the events of the past, stretching back one year per caster level. You notice only noteworthy events such as deaths, battles, scenes of great emotion, important discoveries, and significant happenings.

I would assume that, if he can see it, the elementals all being bound here and whatever counts as a "significant happening."

He's trying to find out if this is the guy's real name, more or less.

You do see the binding - a silvery stone is held in a man's hand. A rather short man - a dwarf. The stone sparkles as if polished, his bearded face breaking into a smile as the elementals appear.

"I hold the Nygraat Stone. Serve me." The dwarf commands, the elementals bowing to him.
