Soon enough you can - beautiful, well made buildings of pleasant colors in a pleasant, sunlight place. They are spread out casually over perhaps a mile, residents seen going about - succubi, incubi, demons and other such filth. None of them seen aware of what looms over them.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Alicia studies the layout and make of those buildings to see if their purpose or import can be discerned from the outside.

Anastasia

A few near the front are easy to tell from signs. One has a sign of the Honeysuckle Inn. Another has a sign that proclaims it 'Lenore's.'. From the windows you can what looks like a den of prostitution.

Another looks to be a cluster of shops - from glimpses inside, though it's hard to tell details from the angles you have.

Beyond that is a large, luxurious manor. It's classically wealthy, standing out from size alone.

There's a few other assorted buildings, including one that has a certain look to it, a practice yard as well that suggests it may be a barracks.

Ebiris

Any sign of those hidden catapults or hideaways for archers or mages that she was warned about?

Anastasia

Looking closer, yes. Hidden well, blended in, but you can see signs of them. Little adjustments in the terrain, hidden windows that blend in, that sort of thing. They're very well hidden, but your eyes are far better yet.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Are they all pointed outwards or can they be aimed inwards amidst the buildings?

Anastasia

It looks like they could be adjusted, based on angles and design.

Alicia gestures for them to stop still well past the outskirts, able to easily survey things from a distance. 'It looks like we were told. Taverns, shops, brothels, Violet's manor, a barracks. The defences can be turned inwards so they'll be a problem if we bypass them but I don't think they're a serious danger and we want to focus on getting under Violet's manor as our first priority. We can sweep whatever's left after we deal with the demons in charge.'

Anastasia

'Agreed,' Antenora says, her gaze ahead. 'If they know we're coming they're doing a fine job of not showing it.'

'If we strike from below and core out the heart of the resistance here, the rest should be mop up,' Syala agrees, 'I have no intention of giving Violet or Malcanthet a fair fight.'

Antenora clicks her tongue softly before, 'Perhaps a few will even surrender willingly. It would be a fine thing to bring a bounty of more than destruction back with us.'

Latha's quiet as she surveys the lands ahead, 'What of the Styx? Can they use it against us?'

Ebiris

Correct me if I'm wrong but does divine rank provide immunity from the problems of Styx immersion?

Anastasia

Yes. It's nasty but not divine tier nasty.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

'Not meaningfully, unless her ability to steal the powers of others is sufficient to work against a prepared and guarded mind,' Alicia says. 'Be more wary of expendable defenders with skills copied from greater threats.'

Anastasia

'That will be a problem, so be on guard,' Syala agrees.

'For victory,' Antenora raises her spear up high, then begins to fly ahead.

'For tomorrow,' Syala adds, 'One a little better than yesterday.'

'For every soul we can protect today and every day ahead,' Latha concludes, following.

Okay, go ahead with approach/prep/ect as desired.

While they're far enough away not to be heard casting any spells, they go through their remaining important boosters before plunging into Rosewater, flying high towards the big mansion.

Okay, following buffs cast before we go in for real.

Recitation (CL 34), +3 luck AC/attack/saves
Righteous wrath of the faithful (CL 34), +3 morale attack (superceded by greater heroism)/damage and an extra attack like haste.

Syala should cast mass power of the huntress. Save the per round buffs for immediately before combat.

Power of the huntress (CL 34), +8 enhancement natural armour, +20 competence stealth, +6 init, gains combat reflexes and can't be flat-footed.

Side note power of the huntress is an amazing buff for Alicia for combat reflexes alone. Get Syala to cast it more or learn it herself.

She does foresight, spell turning, repelling shield, and greater visage of the deity on herself too.
