Thus you plunge in, plunge towards the manor. You get within 100ft, still no sign of being noticed. For the moment at least, the advantage seems to be with all of you.

Gesturing, Alicia brings them to the ground near the side of the mansion. Shrinking herself to the size of a grain of sand so that she won't be picked up on anyone else's tremorsense, she lands on the ground and employs her own tremorsense to get a feel for the mansion's interior, subterranean space, and inhabitants.

[Anastasia]

There's a good deal of vibrations below - something's moving and regularly. Quit ea lot of open space down there, too. Huge caverns, segmented and sorted, along with a large first floor of the manor. The caverns are much larger than the manor and have lots of creatures below.

Any moving water down there?

[Anastasia]

Yes, there looks to be a few places water drains from the Styx to within.

[Ebiris]

She floats up off the ground and reverts to her full size again. 'There's an expansive underground complex much larger than the mansion itself, lots of activity down there with inlets from the Styx,' she reports to her companions.

What routes are available to get down there without making her own and how much activity do they go by?

[Anastasia]

There's three, all deep inside the manor. None look too busy right now on a 'glance'.

'That must be where Violet works,' Antenora surmises, 'I doubt it will be as easy as gliding through the ground.'

'Could we possibly come in through the Styx?' Latha suggests, 'Though perhaps that would be a foreseen tactic.'

'I'd think of it,' Syala agrees, 'Too obvious since there are natives who can swim in the Styx.'

I meant total routes, like passages from the mansion or neighbouring buildings or secret tunnels. Basically anywhere that connects that complex with the surface.

[Anastasia]

There's a few dozen of those, both secret and not. Lots of those to play with.

Can I get some examples based on accessibility, presence of guards, and where they seem to lead?

[Anastasia]

Sure.

All are guarded by at least a pair of guards.

Most lead deeper or out to little escape passages, tucked away and seldom obvious. One in the basement of the barracks for example, one near the shore of the Styx is another. They're generally fairly spread out and none are that easy to get to - they're off the main roads and the like.

What about the main roads for comparison? How are they guarded/travelled? Where do they open out/lead to?

[Anastasia]

The main roads are fairly open, no guards and a decent amount of foot traffic. They go to the various buildings here as you'd expect - though Violet's manor requires a good deal of walking past the end of the road.

[Ebiris]

Sorry I misspoke. I meant main roads in terms of underground passages. Like the direct route down from the manor interior or any other well travelled passages to the underground complex, as compared with the little escape passages with two guards.

Ooooooh.

They're guarded and well kept, minimal foot traffic but there is some. They tend to open out to one place on the surface and go to multiple places within.
