Rebirth and redemption

Anyone who wants to come can. Bastian's a fairly obvious choice since Monks don't really need weapons. But pretty much everyone has magic, too, so everyone is viable.

[Anastasia]

To this, "You alright with this?" Bastian gives you a blunt look, "With your cunt being ou-"

"BASTIAN!" Emily blushes, "Mind yourself!"

"He has a point," Jarem says, "We're all used to armor and weapons, magic woven around us." He shakes his head, "Going with out it is hard, let alone without any clothes. That can get into your minds, make you freeze."

Alyssa raises an eyebrow with a bit of confusion, "Prestidigitation can, at the very least, blur things until I can figure something better out. There's plenty that can be done, and Illusion magic to cover this is... fairly basic."

[Anastasia]

"That is true," Emily admits, "It's just that...still!"

"I think Alyssa can handle it," Jarem goes on, "But it's a good question to ask, and one you can't answer until you do it. I'll pass on this, I don't really care for a trial here and my magic's limited without a holy symbol. Emily?"

"No, there's little point for me now." With a bit of a smile, "I feel so much more, Alyssa, and to take on a challenge like that now feels meaningless."

Bastian considers for a time, before ta last he gives Dolmaya a look. "You going?" he asks, bluntly. "I'd rather not, illusions or not illusions."

"I will, if you're not man enough to do it," Dolmaya retorts. "I will regardless."

"Then I won't," Bastian says shortly, a decidedly sharp glare sent Dolmaya's way.

Alyssa rolls her eyes at the two, "Okay, Dolmaya and I will go. Jarem, you really should bless some ink or something and get a holy symbol tattoo or something. Is there anything we need to do before we go?"

[Anastasia]

"It needs to be something material," Jarem says, "But no, we just wait for Latha now."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa relaxes and waits.

[Anastasia]

Latha soon returns. "We have a suitable location, one that by its nature will also prevent scryings and teleportation. Also one severe enough to suitably challenge you."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods, "And the goals?"

[Anastasia]

"We'll discuss them when you get there," Latha offers, "Come with me, you two. The rest of you will be taking to lodging in Sylica while they quest."

[Iron Dragoon]

[Anastasia]

Thus the two of you are taken away. Past the forges an angel awaits - a tall deva, a man who is muscled and strong. He awaits and greets you all with, "Alyssa, Dolmaya," he greets. "I'm Strength of Light."

[Iron Dragoon]

"A pleasure to meet you, for what it's worth. You'll be administering this trial?"

[Anastasia]

"Yeah," The deva agrees, "Follow me. I'll explain it as we go. Thank you, Latha."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa does so.

"Thank you for the help, Latha."
