[Ebiris]

"It's a shame if they have, but we've done quite well for ourselves and at a fast pace. There's no reason to feel dispirited that we haven't gotten all of them," Alicia consoles Latha. "Still I'm not going to ask, we'll go and look for ourselves regardless."

[Anastasia]

"Then how can I help you with this?" Latha asks, going to join you.

[Ebiris]

"Unless you know about the Askarel Tomb, I'm waiting on Marie getting back," Alicia shakes her head. "That's the one I'm targeting next, although I plan to work outside our usual group for it. With Empress Sulia and perhaps Queen."

[Anastasia]

Latha nods slightly and...

Okay Marie, just going to go over and research?

[Ebiris]

Yes. She'll call ahead to Ebony so she can be let in.

[Anastasia]

Aurora is at Elysium right now so it's a rather local and pleasant trip for Marie's sensibilities. Ebony awaits her at the gate, "Marie," she smiles slightly and bows her head towards her. "Congratulations. Though I must ask," With a warm smile she says, "Are you contagious?"

[Ebiris]

"Just being a proxy isn't enough, Ebony?" Marie asks as she floats in the air outside of Aurora's gate, leaning forward with an impish smile. "I suppose it wasn't enough for me either."

[Anastasia]

Ebony leans in, almost face to face. "I have no dreams of grandeur, but it seems increasingly possible to do. Everyone's talking about it."

[Ebiris]

"I bet they are," Marie agrees, still smiling. "But I'm not contagious no matter how much you touch me."

[Anastasia]

Ebony smiles a little bit, "Why, that almost sounds like an invitation to try."

[Ebiris]

"Oh Ebony, I forgot how fun you are. You should come back to Sylica more often," Marie says in a pleased tone, straightening up. "But for now I'd like a chance to consult Medi's famous library."

[Anastasia]

"Of course," Ebony straightens up as well. "Come with me." As you head in you see the courtyard is quiet. "We're in a fairly long pause after some rough battles, as well as on resupply and rest. Jaela's out right now on a quest. Adrian's filling in for her, he and Misalea stopped in and volunteered for old times sake."

[Ebiris]

"Any closer to actually finding the First Vampire?" Marie asks, looking around as they go inside.

[Anastasia]

"Maybe, some of us are working on leads," Ebony says, "I got back just a few hours ago from one effort. A waste unfortunately, the source was dead. Unrelated demon business, his soul won't be taking divinations while it lies in the Abyss."

[Ebiris]

"Sounds messy," Marie says. "At least you're not being deluged by bats this time."
