A new hill

There's a few - it's said that in one of the deepest reaches of Agathion the walls cry in dread. Dread at what isn't clear, but these tears bring the living to death's door and beyond it. They are exceedingly poisonous and acidic, as well as having curious properties not well understood. What's worse is that the sound destroys the bodies and minds of the living, further casting them into the abyss of death.

Does she have a physical location for these particular deepest reaches that she can give to Alicia?

The best point to start from it said to be Hanged Rock and then simply follow any path that goes downhill.

Bad luck, it seems. Or getting Antenora used up all of your luck for a few more lifetimes yet.

Hanged Rock is said to be where the demons who displease...displease...ah. You shake it off, your mind able to overcome the anathema that surrounds it. Hanged Rock is said to be where the demons who displease the Broken Serpent reside. They are hung and never die, in eternal torment and unable to escape no matter what they do. A daring soul could extract promises of vast power from a demon there, if only they freed them - and risk the wrath of the Broken Serpent, who is it said knows all who defy him on this.

It is little known, but the Broken Serpent is a creature - daemon or demon or something else, it isn't clear - that rules over Agathion. A planar lord of some kind, one mainly known by being unknown. Few comes to Agathion and fewer ever return, and whatever entertainments it has, they are rarely seen or understood.

Perhaps it is a daemon, for it wraps itself in secrecy. Perhaps it is a demon, a furious and hateful thing. Perhaps it is something else or something unique, or some horror that rose from being an inmate to being the warden, so to speak.

"Well, I think I've gotten about all I need now," Marie says as she puts an ancient tome carefully back on the shelf. "Elena, Vul'lath, thank you both for being lovely hosts. I'll be borrowing Ebony for a while longer though."

[Anastasia]

"I'll tell Canderella if she stops in," Elena promises.

"Until next time," Ebony agrees, standing and closing her book, letting Elena float it into place.

Alas she must break up the Ebony and Canderella pairing. But Ebony needs a break so it's fine!

"Come on then," Marie links arms with her and they head out of Aurora so she can gate the pair back to Sylica.

Ebony would object to Marie's monologue there, but no matter. Next move?

After receiving the relevant information from Marie, Alicia will contact her good friend Empress Sulia and ask if she wants to go on an adventure!

'Marie? Certainly - though does it involve birds?' Sulia asks.

Why is Sulia saying Marie there? Alicia's contacting Sulia after getting info from Marie but she's not being referenced.

No, I missed the Alicia part and thought it was Marie taking the initiative.
