Mystran rest

[Anastasia]

Alicia returns to Dweomerheart.

On a simple throne Mystra rests as Marie sings. She sleeps softly, her breathing slow as she recovers.

[Ebiris]

Marie's song is more of a gentle lullaby right now, softly crooning away.

"There's no rush, let her rest," Alicia says quietly to one of the Marie's in the room - there's several and it's beyond even Alicia's abilities to tell which is the real deal. "But let her know I've made the spell and the danger known widely. Selune is planning further direct action against Shar and we'll be taking part."

Marie nods to that and continues her vigil while Alicia returns to Sylica.

[Anastasia]

Thus you return after a rather hectic day thanks to Shar.  Do you have any immediate reactions to this, within an hour or two's time?

[Ebiris]

Nothing immediate, she'd be working on retraining to learn the new spell but that probably takes more than a couple of hours.

[Anastasia]

As you do...

Are you well today, Alicia?

[Ebiris]

Alicia is of course in a dimensionally warded spot!

It's not like you to take time on pleasantries, Shar. Will you share commiserations if I say no? Will you promise to change it if I say yes?

[Anastasia]

It is a day that will go down in Creation's history. Why should I not be happy on the day I won?

[Ebiris]

I'm actually touched that you'd think of me on a day so important to you.

It is a compliment of sorts, even Alicia can recognise that. Poor lonely Shar.

But did you really get enough from it to secure ultimate victory? The threat you pose has risen greatly, but that only has a clarifying effect for your enemies.

[Anastasia]

Oh Alicia, do you think I would show such a secret without a worthy prize from it?

[Ebiris]

Of course not, Shar. But you might be exaggerating the import to make yourself feel better and me feel worse.

[Anastasia]

You feel a sense of mirth but ultimately no more words.

[Ebiris]

They really need to hurry up with that attack. Something to put Shar on the back foot again, reverse her gains or at least keep her from being so cocky.

For now she needs to work on mastering Mystra's new spell though. Safety first!

[Anastasia]

It's not hard to finish up the spell when you've been given a roadmap by the Mother of All Magic, at least. You soon enough have that done and set up.

[Ebiris]

After that, and casting the spell on everyone who needs it, Alicia fetches Antenora and Syala.

"I think the quiet spell we've been enjoying recently is about to come to an end, so I'm going to take this chance to become One," she tells them, having put it off long enough.

[Anastasia]

"Events move again," Antenora agrees, "I'll be there for you."

Syala smiles just a little bit, "And I'll be there to patch you up if it goes wrong, dear. Just make sure I stay bored."
