"Well, if our hypothesis that it only does anything about prisoners is correct, why don't we try and take a prisoner out and see if it will chase us? If it chases us out of the prison, we have more options." Moore says. "We'd have to get it far enough away from the Prison to do anything with it, but if we can get it to follow us, perhaps that's the answer? We could just... make it follow us back to Hope's Landing?"

"It's worth a try," Sylvie says as she goes to get one.

Meanwhie Kaja readies himself. Going to do anything to prepare?

Just in case we need to fight, he'll throw out the following:

Courage Immunity to charm and fear effects and a +24 morale bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls (Swift)
Competence +16 morale bonus to Skill Checks
Heroics - 12x Aliies +20 morale bonus to saves and +20 dodge to AC
Celestial Valor - +8 sacred vs fear and emotion effects that would sap the will to fight, +4 sacred to attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, armor class and saving throws, weapons count as holy (25m)

The songs will all last for 10 minutes.

+24 to Saves

Let's just grab one of the prisoners from a cell nearby and see if that provokes any sort of anything from the golem.

The moment you come out, the golem stops. It does not move, but it faces you and the carried prisoner - in this case a half elf man.

"Well, we have its attention." Moore says. "Hello? Can you speak?" Moore waves at it.

If I said we are friends of the Guardian, does that cause you to do anything?

[Anastasia]

There is no reaction to that.

[Nephrite]

"I'm sure the Guardian had the ability to give it orders, but I don't think I could use my force of will to do that. I can try?" He asks with a look over at the others. "Or we can just try and go over it with the prisoner."

[Anastasia]

"Try," Xandra suggests, "What do you think?"

"Either way," Sylvie says, "But on the other hand, going over it might work. What do you have in mind, Moore?"

[Nephrite]

"I met the Guardian... well, the new one. The original had died." Moore says. "I wonder if... maybe, it's..." A breath in and out. "I remember its voice, and I just wonder if I can enact my will in some way. Actually..."

He steadies himself as his words empower the group.

He then looks at the golem as his voice changes - he sounds the same as the Guardian he met here. It may be a new voice to the others, but it sounds the same as that daemon who wasn't really a daemon at all.

"We are taking this prisoner. Allow us to pass and follow us." Moore says.

TL;DR:

Moore's attempting to use the Words of Creation here and his own bardic talent to enact his will on Creation in order to sound like the Guardian and effectively impersonate it. I have a feeling this won't work at all but I'm gonna try!

"Looks like it's up and over." Moore says. "If it attacks, just keep moving. We know it can cross space like teleportation, but we'll just have to see what happens."

The golem moves to block your escape, leaving the ground as if gravity means nothing.

"Really should've figured it could do that." Moore says as he slowly starts to move back the way they came with the prisoner to see if it will follow them or just go back down to the ground. "Ideas?"
