Nephrite

Anastasia

Another floor, all the same.

Another floor, all the same.

Another floor, all the same.

"No variance, no sign of an end," Kaja growls, "How many poor souls did it collect? Millions?"
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Assuredly." Moore says. "But... we'll give them all a better life. Somehow or another." He promises. "No one deserves this."

Anastasia

"What's left of their lives," Xandra notes quietly, "I suspect all of them won't remember anything. Blank slates, almost one and all."

"A mercy," Sylvie disagrees, "After all of this, let them forget and be reborn. Like those victimized by the River Styx. Like Jessica, Alicia's sister. You met her and look how she turned out."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"There's hope for everyone here." Moore says. "I wonder if there's some... room or something, where the Guardian oversaw the place from. That'd likely be too easy, but... well, for now, let's just keep going. I'm curious if anything about this place is different without it here."

Anastasia

I hate when I miss someone to post. Apologies.

"A Guardian wouldn't need that sort of place,' Xandra points out, "So it's highly unlikely."

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

It's all good.

"They wouldn't. But there has to be something... or... maybe we need to create it?" He asks. "I wonder if this place is like a plane and has some kind of will?" He suggests. "It might've been created by a Guardian, but they still have to follow SOME rules of Creation..."

A glance to the side of one of the prisons. "I wonder if when they left if they might've left anything behind..."

Anastasia

"I think the point of the Guardians is that they're outside of Creation's rules except as the Incarnation of Balance limited them," Sylvie disagrees, "But maybe we'll get lucky. Want to keep searching?"

"Given the unique circumstances here, I think we may find something." Moore says as he proceeds.

Just in case you need it...

Another level, still the same.

Another level, still the same.

Another level, still the same.

You come to a different place. An empty courtyard full of chains and cages. Here thousands of cages can be seen. In each one is a monstrous thing, a mountainous demon. In each cage is a balor, rage and fury held back by steel and will. Fires burn in each cage from the demon's wrath, yet not a speck of heat escapes.

Were you mortal, you know you would flee. That the fear, hatred and raw evil here is unearthly. In every moment and every breath evil cascades around you, a raw chant to kill, to maim, to destroy, to take.

Sylvie grimaces and braces herself.

Kaja readies his swords.

"Be strong. Great evil is here, but we are here as well. We will triumph." Xandra declares, speaking loudly and projecting her voice. "Be not afraid."

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Interesting." Moore says. "An entire floor for one type of creature?" A shake if his head as he proceeds forward.

"It's like she said - we have no reason to fear this." And with that said he flies on, a determined look on his face.

He's faced worse than this before - he will face it again.

Anastasia

Glares. So many glares. Yet not a one can escape their cage or attack you. The four of you progress to the far side of this space, where stairs going further down are found.

Divine immunities saved you all a very unhappy time.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

I'm sure there's worse waiting.

Moore proceeds down the stairs, these horrors left behind for now.

"I have an idea if we don't come across anything." He says. "I don't know if it will work here or not, but we can try it if needed." He says. "For now let's keep going and see where we end up."

Just in case you need another.

This next floor is frigid. Ice everywhere, not a scrap of heat. Brutal and unearthly cold, cells frozen over with thick coats of ice. It's like the previous floor, a hall that stretches on seemingly impossibly far and long.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Moore continues along. "Prisoners that have to be frozen?" He asks aloud.
