Yeah, I know it's a bit early, but I thought it would be nice to figure out who is interested in going to Anime Central next year.

For those who don't know, Anime Central is near Chicago, IL and is usually sometime in mid-May.  For more details, you can visit www.acen.org  The website for next year isn't up yet but you can see this past year's old site.

Anyway, I'm just curious as to who would want to go next year.  We could get together a group of Soulriders people to have rooms all next to each other.  If you're interested in going, give us a shout.

UPDATE 11/06

The ACEN website ( www.acen.org ) is now open with what scant 2005 information they have.  The last time I checked, they didn't have registration open.

Anyone interested in going should check the page out.

UPDATE 12/01

Apparently registration is now open for ACEN 2k5.  The sooner you register, the less money you have to pay usually. So check it out, if you're going.

We turned them off, as I recall.  Though I don't think we remembered to remove them entirely.

Yes.  As I recall, the reasoning those didn't get removed was because Rez could turn off the smilies feature with a click of the button and couldn't remove those without diving deep into the code.  And it wasn't a priority, so got pushed aside.

Barring unforseen travel to distant lands, I intend to be there.  Who knows... maybe I'll take my bike.  I can see that being a fun trip.
