In the early and mid eighties as well as the early ninties, there were a lot of movies brought over from Japan and China that were remarkable for three things:
A)They had awesome kung fu.
B)They had wretchedly mistimed and over-dramaticzed dubs.
C)They were awesome movies to watch while drunk or with friends.

Not to say the movies were necessarily bad but they were almost unintentional comedies, often way over the top and usually low budget.

Super Ninja Boy is this sort of attitude given flesh and a River City Ransom style combat system.  The plot is entirely b-movie crud.  The writing is poorly translated and always way over the top.  The names... I mean "Rub-a-Doc"?  Doctor Justice?  Really there's totally nothing to recommend this game from any standpoint other than the fact that it's fighting system is cool and it has nifty platformer elements in action stages....

Save for the whole 'funny by virtue of being crappy'.  This is the type of game you pick up when you want to smack flamango men while battling your evil robot clones lead by a rock drummer gone bad.

Anyhow, if you find it somewhere for a nickel and a dime, pick it up and give it a chance.  At the least, you'll get hundreds of quoteworthy lines.
