Yeah, I've been trying. This stove's burners get too hot too fast, I think.

Yeah, I know. I'm just frustrated since this has happened several times with this oven. I've made alfredo before with other ovens just fine.

Yesterday was godawful. I was up until 8am, wired out of my damn mind. Finally fell asleep, only to wake up at noon to a screaming stomach. Fell asleep again around 2. Woke up at 5. Same stomach issue. Finally got back to sleep at 10:30, slept for 9 hours. That's sixteen hours. I'm terrified to go back to bed.
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Sounds like you had a 24-hour flu (or some variant) and may not even have known it.

Ah, right.  I remember you talking about that.

Did you feel anything peculiar while that was going on?  Emotionally speaking, I mean.  Also, did you eat anything that you've never had before/had not had in a long while?

It's not particularly common, but sometimes allergic reactions present themselves in odd ways.

(Though, in the back of my mind, I'm thinking this actually sounds a bit like someone slipped an upper into something you ate/drank.  You get wired, freaked out by it, and the next day your body really starts to feel it and you're exhausted.)
