Echo on cubicle location (through the use of a cunningly placed wall, I am in both the exact center AND the most remote corner of the office).

Something else.  Overtime makes Brian....  Something something.

Tried to start my desktop yesterday and it kept resetting after every 5 seconds. I'll need to test it with different RAM and power supply and if that doesn't work then clean the CPU which will involve having to remove the entire motherboard from the case -_-

Worst case scenario is that there's something wrong with my motherboard and I'll have to buy a new one since this one has already passed the warranty date :/

Nothing will ever break within warranty, and if it does ... then it will be in a way that is not covered by warranty.

AT&T made a mistake, and switched our DSL provisioning date and our DSL disconnect date.

Meaning, they start the entire (10 day) install process over again from today.

Aside: Technology has advanced.  Shouldn't DSL provisioning/installation be down to like, two days by now?

Telecommunications in the states have been aggressively fighting technological advancement, and AT&T is really at the front of that fight.  They own so much of it, they often want to produce the impression that its still very hard to get/achieve since it means folks will pay more for it (As we do).

Have OT all this week (12 hour days, 8 hours on Saturday).  It's voluntary, but if you don't volunteer, it's highly likely that you will be put down.

Slept in this morning (resulting in 6.5 hours of sleep) because I forgot to set my alarm.

Drove to work last night and had to slow for road repair. The smell of the tar was so strong it made me nauseous. Then when I get to work I have to ride a bus over to the main building an someone was drowning in perfume. Cue headache. Twenty minutes into work and I'm puking my guts out. So I get sent home and I not only don't get paid for a full night's work, I loose my overtime for the week.

I have had trouble sleeping all week. Well, really Sunday and Yesterday.
I ended up staying up all night sunday and sleeping in the office Monday afternoon.
Today still goes on after 3 hours sleep and only an hour or so left.
Of course I have a meeting with my manager in 40 minutes were I tell him I can't work with one of my co-workers anymore.

We blew a fuse at 2 AM. It took over a half hour of sleepy figuring to find out that my bedroom fan was the cause. Balls.

Still no interwebs.  It seems that AT&T is screwing our provider around.

When we call AT&T to say, "Whyfore the DSLExtreme not work?"  AT&T says, "Dunno!  But our service could be set up for you in THREE days! :D :D :D"  I can only reply with: ò_ó.

But it is a most heartfelt ò_ó.
