Brought Spore home all happy and whatnot to try it out only to come face to face with a reality I had hoped to avoid; my video card is horribly dated. Gah. Now I need to get a new one and probably a new power supply just to play the creature creator.

Sadly, I know jack all about building computers.

I bought it years ago and outside of buying more RAM I haven't and changing a broken dvd ROM drive I haven't done anything to it.
