Last I glanced, git simply did not survive terrabyte depots.  We're a game company, right tools for the right job.

Accursed contractor tax rates....  I forgot about the no-taxes thing, overcompensated, and miscalculated my income.

...so my raise from conversion wasn't 58%, it was actually 104%.

So, our company has a customer in the Congo.  They keep two sets of our equipment (one mirrors the other).  The reason for this is that one of their hardware stacks is at the bottom of a mine.  There's a running gag that if someone screws up in our department, they'll be sent there.

It's looking like someone's going to be sent there because the customer actually will need an experienced hardware technician to help install stuff ... and I'm the guy in the office least chained to current tasks.

Maaaaaaaan.  I really hope I can get out of this one.
