New cat peed on the new bed today.  It's not been a great day.  Need to figure out how to keep her from doing it again.

Where many paths and errands meet.

Don't use her as a towel to try and soak up the mess.

It just makes you also have to wash your cat.

However, cats _usually_ only do that if their litterbox isn't clean enough.  In this case, because it's a new cat, she could just be uncomfortable with her environment.  It didn't do a lot for Shami, but Slacker says that 'Feliway' is really good for calming the cat down enough to behave slightly better.

I just wish I knew why she decided to start doing it two weeks in, and only when both Cy and I are in bed together.  She was sleeping in bed with us just fine prior to that.

It probably is stress but I don't know how to calm her down so that she doesn't do it again.  Did look at that feliway stuff. Kinda expensive.

One of the projects I sunk months into is facing getting scrapped and not released.

I'm ... actually torn about this.  The project is a piece of junk, but all that wasted work....

I guess I should be happy.  I still got paid for the effort.

It's something hard to get perspective on.  Sometimes efforts are well and truly doomed.  Sure you can sink time and energy into them, but it can be out of your control on it being crappy.  Best thing to do in those cases is work hard, but not extra since the extra doesn't salvage anything.

At least you're free of it and got paid.  Now hopefully you can sink time into something more successful.
