This fic is an old one, but no less excellent in spite of its age. I read this fic back in 1999 or so, and enjoyed it so much that I referred it to all of my friends at the time.

EVA-R is a continuation of the world after the final episode, stating, "What if the movies never happened, and the Angels kept coming?" With new characters and a talented author and a host of editors and designers putting out some seriously skilled bits of work, this fanfic is sure to please. It goes to great lengths to give detail and literary immersion into the scenery, so much that the reader often feels as though they are really there. The use of symbolism is well-done, and the depth of the characters is both surprising and refreshing. Subtle twists and turns in the plot and tha characters leave the reader guessing at what will happen next.
