It was indeed entertaining
Well, Goodbye.

I loved the Quick Time Event.
"Do what you want to do. Do what you like doing. Write the stories you want to see written and give other people the same courtesy. That is all that is important."

Kaldrak

That was pretty darn funny. John Oliver is great.

Quote from: Biostatistics courseworkUsing 64 percent as a sample of 45 women selected at random from the population of eligible women less than 50 percent would attend programs.

Quote from: KLSymph's coursework submissionp = (0.50*45+0.5)/50 ≈ 0.5111111
Zc = (0.5111111–0.64)/sqrt(0.64*(1.0–0.64)/45) ≈ –1.801277
P(X≤Zc) ≈ 0.036

Please note that this question was extremely poorly written in the homework PDF.

What? *can't really parse that question*
Well, Goodbye.

KLSymph

What it's actually asking is:

Quote from: Biostatistics by Wayen W Daniels, 9th EditionGallagher et al. (A-6) reported on a study to identify factors that influence women's attendance at cardiac rehabilitation programs. They found that by 12 weeks post-discharge, only 64 percent of eligible women attended such programs. Using 64 percent as an estimate of the attendance percentage of all eligible women, find the probability that in a sample of 45 women selected at random from the population of eligible women less than 50 percent would attend programs.

So basically the TA dropped the middle part of the textbook problem he or she was copying. -_-

So, dealing with incompetently written fics on Addventure turns out to be good training for dealing with incompetently written biology exams? >_>

There truly is an upside to everything.

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Dealing with the Addventure is good training for a lot of things. Condescension, for example. Would my condescension flow forth so smoothly without the Addventure? I think not.
