I'd like to introduce you to two games that are very dear to my heart.

The first one is Elasto Mania (Elma), the sequel to Action Supercross (Across). The game is a motorbike game with rather realistic physics in which you drive around collecting apples before reaching the endpoint (a flower). In doing so, lots of special maneuvers and skills are required. Did I mention that you're timed?

The graphics are 2-D and flat. This isn't a graphics game. Instead, it is a simple and addicting (to me, anyway) game I can play to fill up a few minutes (or half hours). The maker is Hungarian, but all text is in English.
Give it a try. Seriously. This means you.
The shareware version is available at //www.elastomania.com

The second game is called Luola, and is Finnish-made but in English. Basically, it's a 2-D crappy-graphics addicting fly-around multiplayer game. You get a little ship and fly around shooting the other players. Everyone can choose a special secondary weapon, which can be changed during gameplay if so desired. Teamplay is available. This is one of my favorites to play with other people.

I give both of these games high ratings.
