Drac: Ah, okay.  Given the fact that you were the one who introduced the fic to me as worth reading, that makes sense and sanity is restored to my universe.

I stopped following this one at some point when just simply too much was going on for a tiny kid.  Looking now, I see that he really still hasn't quite hit start of academy age, which continues down that road.  Shame, just too compacted as a timeline.  Lots of neat ideas, but it's just hard to suspend my belief for how young Naruto is in almost all the scenes at this point.

It's like a flush of old stories are coming out lately.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4370189/1/Will_of_Fire_Heart_of_Stone - This fic went sour about halfway through, but it has finished.  Not a great ending but hey, I still like the Stern Sandaime theme its got and it is a completed fic.  It's pretty nasty on the bashing of Jiriaya and this last chapter is just obnoxious to Konomaru, but still it had an interesting start.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6036571/1/Away_to_Neverland - Is kinda crude as always, short as always.  Last chapter had a Ryouga/Ranma brawl and this chapter has Ranma finally executing his grand escape plan.  Overall, I still think this fic is amusing and has a lot to recommend it despite its mediocre technical quality and minimal length.  It's strongest point is I think the Civil Beasts take on all of characters.  Compared to most Touhou things I've seen, the characters really do come about more as monsters wrapped in human form then just magical humans.  Also the Meiling/Ranma crossover elements are pretty inspired.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2685072/1/Tales_of_the_FoxCat - kinda meh on the end of last chapter and half of this one, but Anko had some good scenes and I do like his take on a creepy Hinata.  Doesn't pull it off nearly as well as People Lie or Motivation, but it was a nice bit watching her brutally take out everyone getting near her Naruto.

I've kinda been avoiding Daybreak for a while.  Just something tossed me off rhythm from it.  Maybe it is how relatively weak Itachi (The Hokage Candidate and National Hero) is coming off as.  Should get back to it sometime but it's lacked the sort of draw the original story had.   The redemption of the Uchiha was a more interesting tale.

Just finished re-reading No Antidote, a pokemon fanfic about Marty and his loyal bulbasaur, and their sad journey towards becoming champions. What happens when your trainer's been poisoned, he has weeks to live, and there is no antidote?

I like it, though keep in mind that it's fairly dark, and there are no happy endings for Marty. Happy endings for bulbasaur...that's debatable. >_>
