It might have been.  The last bit of chapter 4 with Ranma suggests that such a reaction may have been what the writer wanted.

The fic itself is a single-character narration, but there isn't necessarily author-bias, so it could be read as either

furry-wish fulfillment, or descent into the reaches of Stockholm syndrome depending on the reader's personal views

which is a pretty nifty trick to pull off.

Decent update. I thought it largely felt like a setup chapter, ended up skimming chunks of it. The 'negotiations' was by far the best part.

Louise summons Shinji Matou as her familiar. It's only a few chapters in but the phrase 'trainwreck' is already apt. You know things are messed up when Louise is the mature, well adjusted one of the duo.
