I remember that one. Good fic, even with a few quibbles I had with it.

Only 5 chapters of this so far, this is a Sailor Moon + Dresden Files crossover where Makoto Kino was in the plane with her parents when it went down (apparently due to goblin sabotage) and then gets saved/adopted by Harry Dresden.

It's a surprisingly interesting premise where Harry tries to do the reasonable adult thing and keep 14 year old girls from waging a war against an ancient evil. This seems particularly reasonable given that he brought his daughter back to Japan to keep her AWAY from the supernatural war brewing back home in the US.

I like the little tidbits that serve as integration between the two universes, things like why the people from the Dresden universe aren't being more involved with the senshi, why they are leaving the US and going to Japan, Rei's animosity towards father figures and her reaction to getting sidelined by Makoto's father figure, why the plane that killed Makoto's birth parents went down, Harry's mastery of the Japanese language, Harry having to deal with xenophobic/racist behavior due to the combination of his nationality and his appearance, etc.

Also, just the interactions between Harry and the senshi, or heck, Makoto and the other senshi, is nice, as the presence of Harry adds a new dynamic and Makoto just doesn't mesh seamlessly into the group like she did originally.

In spite of that, Makoto still feels like Makoto at her core.

I actually have the books handy, just never cared to read them. I dunno. Sort of like Harry Potter. I could read it if I wanted to, but it's never caught my fancy.
