Binged all of this in a day.

A pretty engaging read and interesting take on the timetravel premise that's popular in Naruto works. Basically, Naruto ends up jumping to an alternate version of his world while jumping back in time, leaving him lost in an unfamiliar Konoha.

Consequently, things are massively different. I enjoyed the binge. Apart from the odd bumps in syntax here and there, I think it's one of the better things I've read in a while.

As a side note, I've been fairly successful searching for decent reads so far when I filter for fics with upwards of 40k words. Not to say that length's a surefire indicator of quality, but it does weed out most of the half-baked ones.

I do the same thing, only usually with 100k.

It does week out a few short story winners, but in general it also weeds out fics the author hasn't spent a considerable amount of time working on.  It's a good strategy for bigger fandoms.

I like that one as well.  I vaguely remembering discussing it in this thread at some point, but can't remember the post.

Also, DOS 100 (or really 99, because the first entry is the prologue) now exists.

^It's one of those things that you just forget about since updates are few and far in between. Truthfully I think the last time it updated before today was a few months before I put it in my alerts, which was a few years ago. Still, updates to anything dormant are always nice.

Found another interesting Naruto fic. I've been partial towards AU's lately, so this was a pleasantly interesting read. The author's choice of narration is engaging and really pulls you into the thick of the emotions in each part. I like it.

There's not much to say about the plot at the moment since it's fairly short right now, but it's worth a look and a follow in my opinion.
