Agents and Shield updated. Mainly notable for blowing off SHIELD and being a wind down segment after last chapter.

https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/nightingale-worm-dnd-bard-taylor.381918/ - updated, one of a couple D&D powers in wormverse fics.

https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/that-gnawing-worm-cancer-worm-au.391395 - nugar's current work.  A significantly AU worm with Taylor having no shits to give, due to having super-cancer.  Also no-manton-limit telekinesis.  It stays street level, with Taylor and Lisa teaming up...to fight off union breaking.

https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/a-change-of-pace-worm-dishonored.346694/  a fic...which has had friendship actually mean something.  Yes, I'm gonna go there, despite it being the story of dishonored involving bone harvesting cultists.

Also cloudy path is updating again https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/a-cloudy-path-worm-supreme-commander.301286/.  For those who haven't read it instantly. o_o
Well, Goodbye.

This one's really fun for what it is. I'm enjoying it more as the story goes and the recent update was pure fun. Taylor's friendship with Glory Girl is amazing and I could even live with it turning romantic. As someone who finds most Worm hookups like that tiresome at best (hello all the Taylor/Amy fics), that's high praise.

Fun but only read the updates. The thread's messy.

This is an example of a fic that uses an odd idea to immediately capture your curiosity. The SI's cat advisor is a total asshole so far, which is doing a great job at provoking questions and keeping me reading. It's not a great story otherwise (so far), but that one hook's executed well.

What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Heh, I almost never read the posts.  It's just a rare thing to participate over there.

Thirded. I don't really much like Spacebattles and its culture, but it's where the fics are right now.

I participate. Not really full discussions, but I frequently post a comment or two on stories I like.

From the author of both Atonement and Intrepid fame, comes Cerulean's original story Heretical Edge.

It's about an academy of Monster hunters that our main character Felicity Chambers finds herself dragged into. though right off the bat as we learn there's more to the world, we learn that Felicity's past is not what she thought...

1-2:

Student: But how you are going to explain this to my dad?

Teacher: We're going to mind-fuck him so he thinks you're going to a boarding school.  We cool?

Student: Hmm...okay!

1-3:
"That is one of the greatest strengths of these invaders, to remove all true memory of their existence from the minds of their victims."

I intend to keep reading.  That jumped out enough for me to want to make an early comment.

Oh it gets better down the line once things get more...grey.

Just finished 12-6, the latest posted part.

That early comment is interesting in light of how the rest of the story has gone.

Also, I want to use Shiori's "satisfactory" line in a real conversation.  Even though I'll probably get beaten for it. :)
