As I said, the whole thing starts early with a premise of danny is just a really functional/well-connected union boss and goes up from there.  Sure his daughter has the powers, but it hasn't mattered in any scene so far.  He's recognized on sight by simply villains, a known figure of importance by Piggot, etc, etc.
