"The art of being a priest is knowing which traditions to keep and which to replace.  I wouldn't expect a guardian like yourself to understand."

[Rezantis]

"So basically, the ones that benefit you are good and the ones that don't are bad?"

[Bjorn]

"Yup!"

[Rezantis]

"That's remarkably self-serving, which is a trait most unbecoming in a priest of the oracle."

[Bjorn]

"My interests are those of Delphi.  In serving myself, so do I serve the Oracle."

[Rezantis]

"So, starving the guardian and denying him sustenance serves the purposes of the Oracle?  She gave me cookies."

[Bjorn]

"Too many makes you fat and unfit for duty."

[Carthrat]

[Rezantis]

Nathan sees Tom looking at the two of them, and stares back.

"What?"

[Carthrat]

"What do you mean, what?"

[Rezantis]

"What means exactly what it sounds like.  What else would what mean?"
