Talking and walking, the party made its way to the eastern lands where the city of New Reno, crime capital of all they had surveyed, stood towering into against the skies.  The smokey stench of the New Reno city atmosphere graced their noses as they stepped into the city.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

"So what can you tell us about starstones, mister?" Leets asked the storyteller.

Dracos

"The starstones, you say...where did you hear about those?" He rubbed his beard, thinking ponderously.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

"Hm. You know, Leets brings up an excellent point with how he referenced you. What *is* your name, sir? We've been traveling all this time, and it's pretty stupid of us to not have taken time to find out that much."

Dracos

"Name...name..."

He seemed perplexed.  "I had a good one once.  Dorius?  No, not that.  That...hum...Something with an F....Fizban?" He asked.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

"Well, at least it's better than calling you mister, sir, or ol' timer." Jan smiled. "Jan Smith, pleasure to meet you."

Shukuen

"As you can gather, I'm just called 'Leets'. And I hope you get your name back soon, mister."

Dracos

"Well, just call me Fizban for now." He responded.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

"Well, Fizban? Can we please hear about those starstones?" Leets pipped up, bringing the topic back on course.

Dracos

"Well, I only remember one story about them...about a man who met himself at the end of the world.  Or at least, it was called that.  He'd been split, you see, by an evil demon.  Pulled into two halves.  One half sought out these twists of fate which had materialized as stones, binding them in a way to him.    He traveled across the world, helping people and slowly but surely gathering these stones which he brought to the end of the world.  It was...a graveyard, deep in a forgotten desert.  In the center of it, there were five huge skulls.  He reached up and placed a star stone in each of their...right eye sockets."

The old man drew himself up at this point.  "The desert quaked as the winds roared about him.  Walking up, through the graveyard towards him...was himself.  Mirrored in every facility.  Called by the crooning of the star stones.  He reached out his hand and his spirit copy did the same...and with a bright flash of light, they vanished from the desert."

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

"Does the story go into how or where he got the stones?" Leets asked. "Or perhaps what happened to the stones afterwards?"

Olvelsper

"And where'd you hear of that story, anyway?" Jan added.

Dracos

"Can't...remember." He rubbed his head a bit.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Olvelsper

"Well, if nothing else we know where one starstone is. Too bad it'll be an uphill battle to get it."

Mei-ling:

To those, unfamiliar perhaps, with the towering skyscrapers and sprawling metropolitan streets of New Reno, it is a very...imposing sight.  To all that can be seen, the light sense of smog surrounds as exotic city activity commences within view.  Near the entrance they are taking, there is a man standing there in a hip-hop outfit with gold chains hanging around him.  The others recognize him as the familiar face of Greg the greeter.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.
