Probably gonna take me a while, though. Currently a guy I know is making the case to get me hired at a team with people I know. The Corporate Overlords are waffling about it, however. If that bogs down, then I'll be applying in parallel to all the different places.

I got it on my phone. Had to put the glasses over the lens. Doesn't look like much, but it had the crescent shape.

I have seen the sun this morning and it is glorious.

Family is debating whether to stick where we are for a few more days or try to start heading home and assessing damage. Nobody wants to go home and get stuck there if the rain starts blocking that area in again, so all of us are leaning to stay where we're at.

Back home. High humidity aside, it doesn't look like the water actually got into my house. Everything feels dry and didn't find any spots that look like there was a leak in the walls/ceiling, so I feel like I got through this okay. Want to do a check outside as well for any damage there, but at least the inside looked good.

I made it to another Labor Day. This means summer's almost over and fall's ahead. No more frying every day, football's resuming and life is good. Yaaaaay.
