Because, at over an hour, it qualifies as taking enough time of anime to count here.

I'm going to review this in two chunks.  The pre-60 chunk and the post 60 chunk.

The bad out first: The post 60 chunk are almost entirely not AMVs.  They also aren't particularly good music videos.  You'd be better stopping at the last amv with voltron.  They really just go off into wacky land.  The last is particularly 'what the hell?' as it is a bunch of action figures over some chinese war movie.  I'm discounting it in the measure of the whole.  If included, the average quality is much worse than the DD3 one and it brings question to downloading the whole thing when a good 1/7th of it is complete crap.

The rest:

The whole was, on average, better than the last DDR.  On individual, worse.  It didn't really seem to have as many top tier ones and they really overuse the arrows in a few of them.  Some of them use them creatively but that's the exception.  That said it had a pretty solid run of second tier type amvs in there, even if the individual ones weren't as high.

Of course, I think a compression mistake was made because it was somewhat hard to distinguish quality levels of source use.  They all seemed almost equally mudded, and I think that's because they compressed it more rigorously than they should've, unless everyone was grabbing from vhs.  I think that the previous one though is more worth watching since when it does have good ones their of higher video composition quality and graphic quality.

Biggest disappointment of it was the Moonlight shadow one done to stills from air, which really just... bleh.  Disappointing.  A good song that should've seen better use.  Followed by the very cruddy Yoda one where having yoda from the animated series in stills was about the whole amv.

The best I think was cafe at about 40 minutes by Destination Skyline.    Little DDR  crap.  Good use of FLCL.  Though short at just around a minute.

The next I'd say was Enter the Dragon by Meri and VegettoEX.  I mean, sure, DBZ song and amv, but well put together.
