At the moment, all I'm kind of paying attention to is Fate/Stay Night.

This is somewhat disappointing.  Any suggestions for neat anime to actually follow these days?  Lots of stuff seems to be up but not hearing many folks talk about most of it.  So what are you guys actually watching?

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shuten

Some of the series I'm currently watching:

    Ouran High School Host Club
    Major 2nd Season
    Shinigami no Ballad
    The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
    Utawaremono
The Third ~Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo~
    Digimon Savers
    Yoshinaga-san chi no Gargoyle
    .hack//ROOTS
    Fate/Stay Night

Some of these are raw and some are subbed.

Sincerely,
Shuten

Liddo-kun

I contribute Black Lagoon to that list, as well.

Brother Shuten!  Major 2nd Season for the win!  ^_^

Liddo-kun: Bjorn is the rain gutter in which all the dirty thoughts of humanity flow into?
Bjorn: I prefer, instead, to think of myself as the crap that blocks the rain gutters, causing the dirty thoughts of humanity to back up, fill the streets, and flood your basements.

Dracos

Hmmm, Haruhi has come up enough to check out later today.

What's black lagoon, Liddo?

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

*dodges the baseball with extreme ease.*

In all seriousness I really do enjoy Major. It's the only sports anime I can genuinely say I truly enjoy. Eyeshield21 is the only other one that managed to hold my interest for a while and even it eventually lost my interest.

Anyways I highly recommend Major to everyone here. It's definitely the best Baseball anime I've seen AND this is coming from a person who doesn't even like Baseball at all.

Sincerely,
Shuten

Quote from: "Dracos"Hmmm, Haruhi has come up enough to check out later today.

Black Lagoon is the story of an ordinary businessman, working an ordinary job, assigned an ordinary task, but having an unordinary day.

He's kidnapped, held for ransom, marked for death, shot at with small caliber weapons, shot at with high caliber weapons, shot at by military grade armaments... then he fights for the pride of all male Japanese salarymen in a contest against a character that resembles a Misato Katsuragi who's lost her freaking mind and gone mercenary commando.

It's best to say that you need to watch it to really see what's what.  And I warn that it's not quite as comical as I make it out to sound, as it has an oddly... hmm... Hellsing-ish feel to me.  Sans bloodsuckers.

Sounds neat.  Mind flinging me some starter eps? =)

Drug hits, yo!
Well, Goodbye.

In keeping with the spirit of this particular thread, has anyone else been watching episodes of Kiba?

At first, I thought for sure that I'd be dropping this as quickly as a viewer would a FOX generated television special, but I find myself still sticking with this series 5 episodes later.  The source material for this had me groaning like a man scarfing a bucketful of chili peppers with a bleeding ulcer -- it's a card game, but listen!  It's really not that bad a story.  It's kind of nifty actually.

The opening setting is a world that's modern bordering on futuristic.  We're following the misadventure of a kid named Zecht and his doting brother Noah -- who disturbingly looks like a male version of Ciel from Tsukihime, but that's neither here nor there.

Now, back to the topic without spoiling too much...

Zecht is transported to another world through a gateway and is deposited in the middle of combat between two men.  They summon great beasts and use elemental attacks via a system of small orbs, which conjures images of Final Fantasy 7's materia.

So, long story short, I'm still watching it, but I'm wondering if anyone else is giving it a shot?

Ranmilia

Hmmm.  I'm currently following...
- F/SN
- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
- Utawarerumono
- Noein (being subbed veeery slowly, finally approaching the end... but still a cut above everything else I've watched except Monster)
- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (obviously since I'm working to sub it now, but even before that.  Nice mix of cutesy and creepy, if you're in the mood for something fun and a little disturbing.)

Dracos

Not I.

Currently just following Black Lagoon, Fate Stay/Night, and Utawarerumono

Got one more series to add to the list of ones I suggest checking out.

I've been watching .hack//Roots, Tsubasa Chronicle, Good Witch of the West, F/SN (of course), Naruto (a year worth of filler episodes, and no sign of stopping in sight), Ah My Goddess the second season, Kiba (looked interesting, and I'll see where it goes, don't know if it's a keeper yet though), xxxHolic (what can I say, I'm a CLAMP fan), and Utawaremono. I don't recommend Onmyou Taisenki, due to the fact that it reminded me of Digimon in a bad way.
