Focused Combat, level 1 (Swords).

Knowing how to use a sword and using it quite well, Beck excels with swordsmanship.

Fortified Body, level 1.

Keeping himself in excellent shape as is needed of a warrior, Beck possesses a strong body.

Acrobatics, level 1.

Beck has a basic grasp of tumbling and speedy manovers as his sword discipline requires.

Appearance, level 3.

While deficient in other areas, one can't say Beck wasn't blessed by Venus and beauty. The man's hot, as certain Makotos may say.

***

The abilities after this point are tied to his sword and inactive unless Beck is controlling his blade.

Item of Power, level 5: Beck's family sword.

A nameless sword from the fifth and last failed Unification War, given to Captain Rigel, a servant of Prince Dei. Made of fine materials and blessed by the Conquerer, this sword possesses powers beyond the quick. Even moreso now that the blade has been refreshed and restored by Usagi, it's power intact and rebolstered. As a weapon it deals ACV x 3 damage, and ties into many traits below.

Definitive Strike style:

The school of swordsmanship Beck has developed. Definitive Strike emphasizes speed and powerful strokes to finish the battle before it begins; leaving only afterimages and maimed bodies in it's wake. However, the endurance of practicers tends to be mediocre and defense capacity is extremely low.

Combat Mastery, level 1:

Being a swordsman has given Beck the knowledge of how to put the pointy end into things and do it well. There's not much more to say here!

Offensive Focus, level 2: (Effect +2 ACV, -2 DCV, loss of DCV bonus for agility)

The line of thought with Definitive Strike is to sacrifice everything for a crippling, destructive blow. Thus, all the focus goes into offense, leaving nothing for defense. Even speed goes entirely to making the strike before his opponent, leaving nothing for speedy avoidance.

Massive damage, level 2:

+10 to all damages; Beck again knows how to put pointy into baddie when he's using his sword. It guides his blows, taking them to the softest and most exposed points of the target's body.

Critical Focus, level 1:

As his style focuses on the 'one big shot', Beck scores a critical hit on a 2 or a 3.

Critical Intensity, level 1:

+1 bonus to the 1d6 to determine the severity of a critical hit.

Fast reflexes, level 4:

Beck is -blindingly- fast when going all out, albiet in a way only to attack first and disable his foe.

Difficult Dodge:

DCV checks of foes +1

Shining Slash:

Beck's sword can store in energy and unleash it in powerful attacks. This varies depending on the energy type, but I generally use 10 HP=20 EP as a bellweather for the damage, or just a flat +15 depending.

Flaws:

Unique trait, level 2: Fragile

+25% to all damage taken. This only applies to HP damage.  Another drawback to focusing entirely on offense, leaving the body in the lurch should he fail.

Other:

Energy gains and losses:

A net of +10; +20 from Beast Lord and -10 from the Crystal. This all went into his HP.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?
