This is Brian's fault. He was looking for someone to GM something, and I wasn't totally adverse to the idea.

So, here's what I've got:

[*]Dogs in the Vineyard - This is a narrativist indie rpg set in an "Old West that Never Was", based off pre-statehood Utah. The PCs are a sort of combination of travelling preacher, sheriff, and postman; that is, in the normal course of events, they travel from town to town, delivering mail, kissing babies, helping to raise a new barn, and giving advice to the local preacher. Of course, something always happens to complicate things. Notable for the extent to which the PCs can control the plot. I like this game a lot, but my only experience running it is with a group of people who are just barely past Monty Haul-style D&D, and that hasn't made for the best of results. I'm hoping for something better here, if folks are interested.
[*]Ex Machina - Cyberpunk with Tri-Stat system. The specific setting is Heaven over Mountain and you may read a shortish review of the system and setting here. The campaign would likely have a self-interest-motivated plot; no big save-the-world plotlines here.
[*]Fireborn - I have not had a chance to read a lot of this game, but what I've read, I've liked. The PCs are dragons from the age of myths, reincarnated in modern society in human form. They are beginning to come back into their powers, but something evil is beginning to come back as well. The mechanics look good at first and second glance, and the concept intrigues me.
[*]In Nomine - I'm sure you've all heard of this one. To be honest, I'd much rather play it than run it; I'm not sure I could handle much more than running a module, if I can find a good one.
[*]Weapons of the Gods - A Wushu/Wuxia rpg, co-authored by Rebecca Borgstrom. I played the intro module with another GM and I like the system a lot. The setting is licensed from a Hong Kong comic book series, but the book provides enough detail that it seems like an original setting. I expect I'd start with that intro module and go on from there if folks are still interested.
[*]Seventh Sea - swashbuckling adventures using L5R's d10-based system. I have a bunch of friends who play this, and it's pretty good. Apart from In Nomine, though, this is the one I'm most ambivalent about; I'm not sure I can do it justice.
[/list]

Caveat lector: my past experience with GMing has not been stellar. I like to think I've learned the lessons I should have, but that's no guarantee.

Location-wise, these'd be on IRC (except Dogs in the Vineyard could possibly be largely forum-based). I live in the Central Standard/Daylight Time Zone (UTC-6/-5), and would generally be available starting between 9 to 10:30 pm and continuing for two to four hours, generally once a week. The particular day is flexible for me, so it'd depend on what's best for the most people.

(Edited to correct a few minor details I'd forgotten.)

This looks interesting.

Me want play now!

This is cool, too.

That could work for me, provided the game is on Monday, Friday, or Saturday.  (Tuesday and Sunday are more iffy.)  I generally wouldn't be able to go past midnight Mountain Standard.

How about Heaven Over Mountain on Monday, weapons of the Gods Friday, and Seventh Sea Saturday?  ^_^
If you see Vampire Hikaru Shidou, it is Fox.  No one else does that.  You need no other evidence." - Dracos

I'd be interested in Weapons of the Gods (from the Wuxia perspective, not having actually seen the system).

There are two caveats.  One is that I don't have Internet at home.  I hope to have it within two weeks, but I am at the mercy of the utility corporations, long may they reign.

The second is that for the times you're talking about, I'd only be available for a game on Saturday (since it would be starting at 3 in the morning on Sunday for me).  Friday might also be doable, but Saturday is in general better for me.

Dracos

I'm interested on the note that  I probably don't have time for it ^^;

Well, Goodbye.

Aw, peas!

I still need at least two more people! WotG is four people for best effect, and I'm certain I couldn't run the other systems with less than three, and even that may be pushing it.

Edward

Most systems will work fine with less than 4 players, though you might need to beef up the PC power level slightly.

But where is everybody?   I thought this site was subtitled 'Gaming Realm for gamers, by gamers'.  Surely at least one of the 6 settings listed by Jon should appeal to every gamer here.

Sure, but that's nowhere near ideal.

My question exactly!

On the one hand, most of us have games.

On the other hand that is a wonderfully pertinent point. I don't have time to play more (probably), but that doesn't stop me being interested!

-In Nomine and Fireborn sound cool. Note how neither of them involve playing humans, just people wearing human skin. It's because I like WoD too much. ;_;

-Weapons of the Gods does not sound cool. I think I'm alone in my opinion here, though. I dunno why, I didn't like the comics I read very much. >_>

Let me note that I didn't like the Weapons of the Gods comic, either, but the game looks cool.

It's well and truly noted. =p

Gah!  How on earth did that end up a triple post?

Here's hoping this one doesn't.

Olvelsper

I'm interested in some of the games; specifically Dogs in the Vineyard, Fireborn, and Weapons of the Gods in order of interest, but the problem with me is that most of the rules and such fly right over my head. ;_;

*is mostly used to freestyle games than anything else, sorry*

Just wanted to chime in to show that people do care.

StormDragon

I'm interested in Fireborn mostly, because it sounds really interesting and because you didn't mention any dice-involved rules... here's to hoping....

Also, Seventh Sea catches my attention, but I'm going to have to take a crash course on the whole L5R's d10-based system.
