Anastasia

They're back for Arc 1. Vote honestly and be nice, girls.

I'll post my votes right after this. I may pass on categories that I feel I can't fairly vote on. For 'PCs' Rei and Kotono count, everyone else I run counts as an NPC or baddie. IF in doubt use your common sense or just ask me.

Quote from: "Anastasia"
Combat, Sailors only:

I know that was meant as a subheading, but I'm leaving this here. >.> Hm. For Best in pure Combat? We'll say Usagi. There's something about her focus that we find respectable, and she was pretty consistent throughout the game.

Quote
Best speech:

Worst speech:

I have to be honest. I really don't remember anyone's speeches except mine, and I tended to botch them on purpose just to offend Usagi-chan's sensibilities. >.>; Sorry.

Quote
Coolest person/most inventive in combat:

Hotaru slipped a Destruction bomb into the weave of the universe. 'Nuff Said.

Quote
Least inventive in combat:

Rei pretty much ripped off everything dramatic she had, right down to the Ash rods ("Dammit, I want a weapon, not these glasses things!") and wings. >>;

Quote
Best critical hit:
I'll add to the general consensus. Usagi's initial Crit DID set the tone for the game. As well as a few initial clashes, as I found her zeal slightly disconcerting. -I'm- supposed to be bloodthirsty lunatic! (This is a joke. >.>)

Quote
Worst failure of dicing:

Black Hole Buster, yep yep. With the success against the beast lord, I expected big things from this attack, but, nothing. It helped with the drama for sure, but otherwise, meh.

Quote
Combat, NPCs/other:

Not Quite sure what you mean, here. Is it a subheading?

Quote
Best in battle:

Worst in battle:

Best - Nior. He always came through when it was desperately needed.

Worst - Arieta. She only survived as long as she did by being good at running away. >.>

NPCs:

Man, don't use Semicolons for subheadings. It makes them look like questions. >.>;

Best NPC:

Serenity. She was exactly what she was meant to be. A guiding light, however we might have needed to be shown the way.

Worst NPC(For best and worst, who you objectively think was the best/worst developed and executed NPCs. Subjective is below.):

I wasn't around, but I'll say Kensuke, 'cause the character summaries seemed to agree he was all around botched.

Favorite NPC:

Tie- Auntie Fuuko was an absolute blast to talk to when you finally got into the swing of things. Just the sort of female influence on Makoto's life to make her seem older than most of the senshi, even though she was one of the youngest.

Nior&Uncle Taka - Both together because they had the same effect on Makoto. Unlike your teenage boys, these two came off wonderfully. Strong and protective, and each slightly fatherly, without eclipsing Makoto's own father...The big brothers to Fuuko's Big Sister.

Least favorite NPC:

On reflection, I'm changing my vote to the Beast Lord. Makoto Hated that goddamn thing for all the grief it gave Hotaru.

Wanted to see more of NPC:

Janna. I totally thought she and Makoto could have been good friends, even if Fuuko would have messed with her head viciously. >.>;

Wanted to see less of NPC(Be honest here, the feedback is good for Arc 2):

Beck. >.>; He wasn't really that bad, but I don't think any NPCs but Mamoru failed completely. And Mamoru was already missing most of the game. >.>

Villians:

Best Villian:

Balder. Hard to fight because he wasn't completely blackhearted.

Worst Villian:

Arieta. Generic shrieking harpy.

Most liked villian:

Nior. Obvious reasons.

Most hated villian:

Jadeite. He never even noticed Kitara, and for that, I hate his guts.  Runner up, Beast Lord, for reasons stated above In fact, Call it a tie. They were a pair of Taints. (Look it up)
---
Best in battle:

Worst in battle:
&&&&&&&

Best - Probably Misuki. She gave us the most trouble, Hands down.

Worst - Youma Janna. Never even put up a fight, just let herself be talked out of it! Now, granted, this makes her a sweetheart, but a lousy villian.

----
Best fight overall:

Jadeite. Five hour battle Royale. >.>; And I got to chop off his head!
---

PCs, general stuff!

Most defining PC moment, any:

It's really hard for me to come up with long descrip. So...um, let's go with Setsuna's resignation. It polarized everyone, I thought. Makoto and Hotaru got mad, Usagi was kind, trying to figure out what the hell was going on, and Rei's ego trips started here in earnest. It kind of brought out a little of the core elements of everyone.

Most defining PC moment, others(As Redux has tons of development, feel free to list the runners up for each other girl on these fronts.):

Usagi - Hmm. Nothing specific, but Gaia is memorable in that she really started to come into her own as a Legitimate leader of our group. Before we went there, she was somewhat ineffectual (Sorry, Usa) And simply our White Mage.

Ami - Mmm. I hate to vote for something I didn't see, but Nior coming to dinner sounds like it. Ami was probably the most settled of us, seemingly.

Hotaru - probably the first real enounter with the Beast Lord. For someone so frail, that could have been her breaking point, but I saw it as where her stubborness really began being forged. >.>
Most strange/OOC moment:

Luckiest with the dice PC:

I have no idea. ;-; Watching everyone else get middling to good rolls while I failed constantly ruins perspective.

The Dice Bitch(TM):

See above. ;-;

Favorite PC to RP with:

I love you all. Hotaru, I just Click with, and Usagi and I did play off each other interestingly in the scenes we got...(Which were rather annoyingly few. I would have liked to come to more of an understanding...or failing that, at least play the moderate to Hotaru and Usagi's extremes better)
And Ami-chan was fabulous to play off of, once I caught the rythym. I thought our time at the Hospital fundraiser was probably the closest anyone in game game to clicking together in a style that emulated canon so perfectly.

Least favorite PC to RP with(Be nice and say why. Again, feedback is good for all. I debated having this one in since I don't think it's needed for this game, but I'm curious on the answer. I think least is relative here.)

Probably Rei. Not because I hate her, though, just because she keeps expecting me to be just like her, and I'm not.

Best PC overall:

Yeah, right.

OOC!
---
Best player overall:

Best RPer:

A big Negatory. I am probably too biased to answer on either of these. We all did well.
------
Omakes!

Best omake:

Ranma. ;-; It died, but it also kept me consistently entertained.

Worst omake:

The one where bad dicing killed Hotaru and me on Red Earth.

Funniest omake:

Funny is too subjective. >.>; Ones where everyone else laughed, I was usually going "WTF?" The only one I can remember right now that sort of qualifies, Kinda, was when Usagi became my little sis. >.> Be careful what you wish for!

Shittiest omake:

Isn't this the same as 'Worst'?

Biggest clusterfuck omake:

T&A academy? Well, take out the Cluster, first, and that's about right, I guess. *Grumbles about constantly being turned into a guy*

Other!

Favorite Misukibot incarnation, huh?!:
I'm with Usagi. Misuki got kind of pushy and irritating rather than funny toward the end, and I was usually happy to see her turn into Blankbot, or sign off. >.>

Favorite dicebot: Ami_no_yuki! Someone needs to vote for the little snow lady that SAVED THE REAL AMI'S BUTT.
---
I love the games I've played here.

Anastasia

Combat, Sailors only:

Best speech: Kotono's bedwetting speech. The Beast Lord causes bedwetting!

Worst speech: Mmm. None come to mind here.

Coolest person/most inventive in combat: This...I don't know. This is a tossup, but I'll go with Ami since she had to work with the visor and interpret data most of the time. Could go to any of the four PCs, really. Kotono and Rei not so much.

Least inventive in combat: Rei. I like her, but she's all BURN.

Best critical hit: Hotaru's 2-6 on Misuki. This took her out for good and stands in my mind as a marked event. Runner up is Usagi's first battle crit.

Worst failure of dicing: Makoto's midgame dry streak. Somewhat over exaggerated at the time, but she did have a nasty rash of just misses. Usagi's bit of 11-2-6-12 in omake recently also springs to mind, but that's purely omake.

Best in battle: Mmmm. Ami wasn't big enough in battles to the end to cut mustard here, nor were Rei or Kotono. This leaves Makoto, Usagi and Hotaru. I think Makoto jus tmisses, partly because of that dry streak and her own doubts. Past that? I vote Usagi - Moon Tiara Bind got tons of utility(More than I intended, should've nerfed it a bit more), and Starlight Breaker is O_O stupid.  Hotaru's close, but she feels more like a steady cannon fire versus a bigger but single missile volley.

Worst in battle: Kotono. Girl's not great in battle.

Combat, NPCs/other:

Best in battle: Nior. Balder might have a chance if he wasn't routinely bitched by Jadeite and Beck doesn't feel right.

Worst in battle: Mmm. I'll say Janna since she had no fighting skill. No one else really feels right to me. I'm biased here.

NPCs:

Best NPC: Balder. For all his abundant flaws and issues, I always felt I hit him just so. Even when it hurt to play him, you know?

Worst NPC(For best and worst, who you objectively think was the best/worst developed and executed NPCs. Subjective is below.): Mamoru. I fucked him up, plain and simple.

Favorite NPC: Queen Serenity. Damn it, I wanna do more with her and the girls.

Least favorite NPC: Kensuke. Never worked out.

Wanted to see more of NPC: Ikkuko/Fuuko/Chikako/Reiko/Ko. The mothers are fun!

Wanted to see less of NPC(Be honest here, the feedback is good for Arc 2): Beck. Did what he did well, but he grated on me.

Villians:

Best Villian: Misuki. Pure potential that never worked out, but she hit every note she had flawlessly.

Worst Villian: Kensuke.

Most liked villian: Misuki. It's a shame.

Most hated villian: Jadeite. This surprises me, but in the end, I hated the guy too. Not OOC wise, but as IC as I can be as the GM. He was the purest, nastiest thing I've ever RPed, and also the most relatable.  He tried so hard to be the best humanity had, and ended up the worst.

Best in battle: Jadeite. There's just no doubt here with that mammoth last confrontation and the lead ups to it.

Worst in battle: Kensuke. Just barely missed.

Best fight overall: First Misuki battle, racing up tothe rooftops to catch up to her. Pure stylistic goodness.

PCs, general stuff.

Most defining PC moment, any: This is ironic - it comes back to the two crits of Usagi and Hotaru again. I'll give this one to Usagi - her first critical changed her path forever.

Most defining PC moment, others(As Redux has tons of development, feel free to list the runners up for each other girl on these fronts.): I'll pass on this one for the moment. I have thoughts here, but they're stormier and more debated for the other girls.

Most strange/OOC moment: None come to mind. This is a good thing. No plushie theft this game!

Luckiest with the dice PC: Mmm. I'll say Usagi overall, but it's hard to say in this long a game.

The Dice Bitch(TM): Makoto. I think her own self admitted focus on her failures tended to condition us to think of her as such.

Favorite PC to RP with: Oh HELL. 1 - Usagi 2 - Makoto 3 - Hotaru 4 Ami

> roll 1d4
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d4 and gets 2." [1d4=2]

That's how close it is. I vote Makoto, but each of you are fantastic and incredible. I can't choose myself.

Least favorite PC to RP with(Be nice and say why. Again, feedback is good for all. I debated having this one in since I don't think it's needed for this game, but I'm curious on the answer. I think least is relative here.): Pass.

Best PC overall: Kotono. I'm proud of her. It also lets me dodge the issue of having to choose again.

OOC:

Best player overall: Pass. I'm just not touching this one. <_< To be honest it would be another coinflip between three or four of you.

Best RPer: Pass, see above.

Omakes:

Best omake: Usagi on the universe's game show. Right omake at the right time and just did it for me on so many levels.

Worst omake: Genie offers Makoto her parents in exchange for Jupiter. In retrospect I had a whole plan for this - after she accepted. I should've set it up differently and avoided the front end crunch. Doh.

Funniest omake: Master PC today. Amusement worthy!

Shittiest omake: Pass.

Biggest clusterfuck omake: Pass.

Other:

Favorite Misukibot incarnation, huh?!: Misukibot. <_<

Favorite dicebot: Rei-chan.

On doing this, the one problem for me comes to mind. IT's fucking hard to choose just one.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Asrana

Edit: Sensei, I copied Ami-chan's homework....

Combat, Sailors only:

Best speech: I honestly can't remember enough speeches to answer this one.

Worst speech: Kotono's bedwetting speech. You knew I was going to put this here. >_>

Coolest person/most inventive in combat: I'll just answer 'coolest' because inventive is kind off kilter here. I'd say Mako-chan. She always got in their face, right up front, smashing, slashing, moving, high speed, high energy, GO GO GO.

Least inventive in combat: Rei, I guess? None of us had all that many options off the bat, but Rei kinda got the butt end of a lot of stuff.

Best critical hit:
So as to dodge narcissism: Ami's Shabon Spray to Balder at the bus depot. Set the stage for an utter brutalizing of his DCV and near death experience for Balder.

Worst failure of dicing: Black Hole Buster. Extended that battle by an age and a half.

Best in battle: Mako-chan for me. I did more fights with her though, I'll admit. Plays off how she always got in their face, Hotaru relied on other people putting DCV penalties in place for her, and Mako-chan certainly went on the offensive, and quickly!

Worst in battle: Ummm...no one, really. We pretty much all fulfilled our given roles. Lowest eprformance...I'd honestly have to say Kotono. She had a mix of bad dicing that just spelled 'mediocre', without Makoto's style and energy to counter it.

Combat, NPCs/other:

Best in battle: Corrupted Grandpa Hino. Gave us the worst time ever until Mako-chan beat him with her fists...

Worst in battle: Since Arieta isn't an NPC as I glance at this...Mamoru. He was SUPPOSED to be decent, and while he had a few okay saves...long absence, a few rather stupid fuck ups, eh.

NPCs:

Best NPC: Serenity-sama~ She's managed to make all the senshi gay for her. There are few greater accomplishments this game.

Worst NPC(For best and worst, who you objectively think was the best/worst developed and executed NPCs. Subjective is below.): Mmm. Tie between Beck and Mamoru. Beck was just...sorta like a crabbier Balder Jr. Mamoru...well, Ana's admitted to fumbling him, and said fumbling about double my hating of him...

Favorite NPC: Reiko. Could not pass up any moment to interact with mom.

Least favorite NPC: Who do I hate most? I'd have to lay it on Balder. Clashed from the get go, wanted to kill him, never trusted him, and he actually physically pushed his affections. Mamoru at least kept his hands off.

Wanted to see more of NPC: Triplets~Chikako. Chalk the latter to my Mizuno fetish, but I honestly wanted to get into the triplets more, they were fun.

Wanted to see less of NPC(Be honest here, the feedback is good for Arc 2): Beck~Balder. The former contributed zip, the latter contributed BURNING RAGE.

Villians:

Best Villian: Jadeite. He managed the cold black aura of DOOM pretty well. I always got shakey when he entered.

Worst Villian: Objectively? Yeah, Ana doesn't stop some days about how much she flubbed Kensuke...

Most liked villian: Misuki~Beast Lord. I interacted with Misuki in a way that did not involve BURNING HATRED; and I keep interacting with her whenever I look at my momento. The beast lord on the other hand, I got deeply intwined with, and he managed to push at what Misuki had laid down with a lot more force in Hotaru's character. Overall, Misuki tops out for providing better omake fodder.

Most hated villian: Balder. BURNING HATRED. He caused so much grief in so many corners for me and smacked Hotaru's sensitivities so hard, she was actively trying to kill him against Serenity's order, and only half because she fully thought it necessary.

Best in battle: Misuki. Freaking HELL, STAY STILL YOU BITCH. Also went out with a total bang.

Worst in battle: Eleni. Our fight with her could be described in a number of ways, including: Wham-Bam-Thank-You-Ma'am; wtfpwned; and One Night Stand.

Best fight overall: Mmm...still ahve to say my lasyt solo fight with Beastie. It was the real mating of Saturn to her family, besides being the source of one of my favorite tricks.

PCs, general stuff.

Most defining PC moment, any: This is kinda hard to say when judging someone else, but here's the shot...

Makoto: Her communications with Kitara. Aside from all her combat, it really encompassed Makoto's emotive sides.

Ami: Hacking the portal out from under Jadeite with the Mercury Computer. Brought her into a whole new dimension of support role, and set the stage for her MVP performance in the Jadeite fight.

Usagi: Killing the first youma when it comes right down to it. Unending, complete and forward looking confidence. SCARY. But I love you anyway.

Hotaru: Hmm...I'd run a tie. Refusing to ressurect Misuki started the flow, but it culminated in her last battles with the Beast Lord. She stared into the depths, and didn't find her reflection there.

Most strange/OOC moment: Really can't think of one.

Luckiest with the dice PC: Hmmm...that's hard, honestly. We each sort of had our dice bitch zone, and we each had our good zones. I might say Usagi overall.

The Dice Bitch(TM): This was a title bitterly fought over by Makoto and Ami at times, though I hold that Rei was breathing down their necks. Mako-chan angsted over it though, so I guess she'll steal it if we give it to Ami anyway.

Favorite PC to RP with: *coughs* Mako-chan. Runner up to what everyone saw coming because we all knew that...Usagi. Our good moments could be GREAT, even if our lows were heart rending to watch from my end. Sometimes, Hotaru just wants to give Usagi a hug and sigh about the arguments.

Least favorite PC to RP with(Be nice and say why. Again, feedback is good for all. I debated having this one in since I don't think it's needed for this game, but I'm curious on the answer. I think least is relative here.): ...Honestly? Kotono. She out endures me and Hotaru. It's like trying to talk to a jackhammer sometimes. She's nice, I love her as a friend, I'd die for her, but jeez if I couldn't wave something in her face and distract her, she'd start to grind after too long. Just ends up kind of frustrating at times if it drills at me long enough.

Best PC overall: Ami. Left field considering all of the above, I know. She had a lot of schedule problems, but what she did usually came out wonderful from every single angle--playing in it, observing it, or whatever.

OOC:

Best player overall: Abstaining. I don't really feel I can judge this.

Best RPer: Again, I'm struck with indecision,, I end up with a tie between my fellow PCs. >_>;

Omakes:

Best omake: Hrm. For me? The Plane Hopping Souichi and his Holy Grail omake. Otherwise known as My Reincarnated Sister Rei, and The First of the Dune Taking a Side Comment and Running like the Freaking Wind with it omakes.

Worst omake: The one where Makoto and I died a bloody and horrific death in combat.

Funniest omake: Reini. Cracked Usa-chan was just GREAT.

Shittiest omake: Jadeite Raped My Mom.

Biggest clusterfuck omake: See omake where Makoto and I died bloody deaths.

Other:

Favorite Misukibot incarnation, huh?!: Failurebot.

Favorite dicebot: Reikobot. Mom was nice to me!
lt;Kotono>  (Currently looks like a 16-year-old girl):I walk up to the leader and say, "Are you so sure you want our money?" and use my alter self ability to grow a massive bulge in my pants.

Merc

Combat, Sailors only!

Best speech: I enjoyed most of Kotono's speeches. I can't necessarily say it was the best, but the bedwetting one was certainly the most -memorable-.

Worst speech: Can't say I bothered to remember any of the really bad ones. I do vaguely recall shaking my head at one of Rei's or Makoto's, so probably one of them.

Coolest person/most inventive in combat: Hrm... there's a lot of ways to answe this but I'll go with most inventive, as I think 'coolest' isn't really possible to answer since a lot of it depended on dicing so everyone had their moments.

Most inventive throughout the game? I'd say Hotaru, hands down. She's the one who kept trying new things.

Specific best inventive moment though, I'd probably split between Hotaru (any of hers could go here) or Ami (the Jadeite fight).

Least inventive in combat: Agreed with Makoto about Rei. She basically seemed to find what worked and just stuck to it. Never really saw a lot of variety in either her MO or abilities.

Best critical hit: While Hotaru's is more memorable, I do think Usagi's first crit of the game subtly set a lot of the mood and how things would flow henceforth, and thus deserves this award.

Worst failure of dicing: I'd say a tie for Makoto and Ami. While Makoto had a lot of overall bad dicing, Ami just had a ridiculous amount of failed rolls with EC that at first annoyed me and eventually just -really- starting pissing me off. A few, where admittedly pretty funny though (Like the hailstorm in my apartment).

Best in battle: Tie between Hotaru and Usagi.

Worst in battle: Same opinion as Hotaru. No one was really -bad- at it, though Kotono did have a bad run of dicing in battle.

Combat, NPCs/other!

Best in battle: Nior. Whatever else Ami might have wanted to think about the guy, Mako-chan is right, he always came through for us when we needed the help.

Worst in battle: Mamoru. The guy just kept getting utterly upstaged by Nior, man. ^^;

NPCs!

Best NPC: Serenity-sama, hands down.

Worst NPC(For best and worst, who you objectively think was the best/worst developed and executed NPCs. Subjective is below.): Mamoru started off decently, but quickly down-spiralled.

Favorite NPC: Artemis. Near the end, he was starting to annoy me a bit though, since he just seemed to get waaaay too crass.

Least favorite NPC: Beck & Umino. Umino just really annoyed me in his persistance. I almost certainly would have been willing to try friendship in the beginning, but the guy did not want anything less than smooching priviledges, it seemed. My opinion of him very quickly went to hell, and it showed in that scene that was turned omake with his PA announcement (at least I -think- it was turned omake?).

Wanted to see more of NPC: Chikako & Dad (did he ever get a name, come to think of it?).

Wanted to see less of NPC(Be honest here, the feedback is good for Arc 2): Beck/Umino

Villians!

Best Villian: Jadeite. The man had presence, and however evil he was, you did have to have a little bit of pity for what he went through, however irredeamable he turned out.

Worst Villian: Arietta. Same reason Makoto gave. I've never liked this sort of villain, and I never will.

Most liked villian: Nior. I think deep down, even then Ami knew Nior wasn't that bad enough of a guy and let her insecurities and fears go out of proportion with the man. Her encounter with him in the dark alley, of course, did not help though. Still, thinking back on the game, I do think I liked him as a villain.

Most hated villian: Jadeite. For all that I nominate him for best villain, he's also the most hated, and most certainly I think it's always good when the best is also the most hated for villain category. He was completely and utterly beyond hope, and had given up his humanity to destroy something that in the end couldn't even be as evil as he had become.

Best in battle: Jadeite

Worst in battle: That T&A Youma who got turned human. Forget her name.

Best fight overall: Final battle vs Jadeite.

PCs, general stuff!

Most defining PC moment:
Ami - Two moments for her. Briefly taking control of the portal in that fight where Balder got oneshot KO'ed and protecting Kotono vs Beast Lord with her new item of power. I don't think she'd have tried what she did in the Jadeite fight without these two moments, because she'd still feel she'd need to be offensive in a fight to make a difference.

Hotaru - Declining the offer to revive Misuki. I think this started to set the tone of Hotaru being the senshi who was tasked to do whatever is necessary. In a way, it's sort of ironic given in the canon source it's her adoptive parents who fought this way and could have meant her death in canon. Go figure.

Usagi - That first critical of the game most definitely set the mood for how Usagi treated the battles. Instead of being a crybaby about her responsibilities, she went through them with gusto and as she grew, understanding of what responsibility she held and acting as correctly as she could with them.

Makoto - Hrm...can't really think of one that I think was particularly PC defining.

Most strange/OOC moment: Nothing I can think of.

Luckiest with the dice PC: I'll say Usagi.

The Dice Bitch(TM): Makoto. However much I failed with EC checks, it tended to be -only- EC checks that I failed regularly.

Favorite PC to RP with: Kotono. She was a bundle of energy, and so opposite to Ami that it just amused me to see what happened when the two got together. A lot of what happened tended to be relegated to omakedom though, so actual in game material, I guess I'll say Usagi.

Least favorite PC to RP with(Be nice and say why. Again, feedback is good for all. I debated having this one in since I don't think it's needed for this game, but I'm curious on the answer. I think least is relative here.): Pass. There wasn't anyone I particularly disliked RP'ing with.

Best PC overall: Kotono. I just really liked seeing her in scenes.

OOC!

Best player overall: For all that I was really wary of Hotaru the military geek at the start (if nothing else, it screamed at me warning bells of Venus in SM1 wanting to be everything), she did a really good job of selling it as a realistic person and did an overall good job handling Hotaru.

Best RPer: Pass.

Omakes!

Pass on all of them. I didn't really involve myself with omakes too much this game, either playing in them or watching them. The ones I did play also never finished and tended to be forgotten.

Other!

Favorite Misukibot incarnation, huh?!: uh... >_>;

Favorite dicebot: Rei-chan tended to give me the most decent rolls.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Ebiris

Best speech: "I won't forgive you for making poor Hotaru wet the bed!" *huggles Kotono*

Worst speech: Do all the speeches about how people don't like to give speeches count?

Coolest person/most inventive in combat: Makoto. Sure, she had bad luck on the dice, but her attack routine really favoured cool descriptions of fast paced melee action and the odd flying encounter. Her battle with the freaky angelic Jadeite clones stood out quite well.

Least inventive in combat: Rei was pretty derivative. Wasn't helped that all her attacks were basically 'does x damage' without any of the fun side effects the rest of us could take advantage of.

Best critical hit: Misuki, Misuki, Misuki... I was one line, ONE LINE, from purifying her. If only she'd stood still and taken her medicine like a good girl...

Worst failure of dicing: Oh, Black Hole Buster... I was looking forward to this single attack ever since I created Starlight Breaker! And I blew it!

Best in battle: Hotaru is exceedingly good at making problems... disappear.

Worst in battle: Kotono did tend to do pretty poorly. She didn't suck, just didn't do anything special, while even Rei managed a bit of style now and then.

Combat, NPCs/other!

Best in battle: Nior. While he didn't technically beat Balder, cratering the concrete with his missed critical sure was a moral victory! And we can't forget his noble sacrifice versus Jadeite... sniffle.

Worst in battle: I'd say Janna, but wasn't that kinda the point with her?

NPCs!

Best NPC: Serenity. Oh, I love her I love her I love her!

Worst NPC: Tossup between Kenji and Souichi. The poor guys are completely overshadowed by their domineering wives!

Favorite NPC: Serenity. Oh, I love her I love her I love her!

Least favorite NPC: Mamoru. He had so much potential, and I really did start off with a great opinion of him and no prejudices, but he still managed to fall so far from grace...

Wanted to see more of NPC: Unazuki-chan! And not just in the dirty way that means I want to look at her boobs! I wanted her to be Usagi's best non-senshi friend, but it never quite worked out. She's still great as a slightly wacky older big sister type, but it's not the same.

Wanted to see less of NPC: Beck or Balder - get rid of one and the other suddenly becomes that much more tolerable! Both get a perhaps undeserved bad rap, and I don't really mind them that much, just... yeah. They could grate at times.

Villians!

Best Villian: Jadeite. The man was like an onion; so many layers! Plus he made us cry a lot.

Worst Villian: Kensuke. At least Arieta tried to suck.

Most liked villian: Sachiko. Sasaki as a youma is just adorable.

Most hated villian: The Beast Lord. He ate souls! Seriously, at least Jadeite just killed people. It's kind of hard to compare with ETERNAL AND EVERLASTING TORMENT. But we stopped that because we're awesome!

Best in battle: Misuki. But one can only ride lady luck for so long, and as we all predicted, when her luck ran out she wouldn't have the mettle to go the distance.

Worst in battle: The nameless youma that Ami killed with a Shabon Spray. Seriously. Killed by a fricking Shabon Spray? No one wants that on their tombstone.

Best fight overall: Jadeite. That was epic. And I loved the dramatic flow of us forcing him down from the sky and into the cave where Dei became Jadeite before the killing blow.

PCs, general stuff!

Most defining PC moments:

Usagi: Instakilling her first youma. Hey, turns out she doesn't suck at quite everything, after all!

Ami: Goading Nior about killing his subordinate. That really established that our Ami-chan has a vicious streak a mile wide when provoked. Good thing she's on our side!

Hotaru: Refusing to sacrifice anything for Misuki's ressurection. Established quite firmly that she won't make any compromises on pursuing her mission, something that's been close to the surface ever since.

Makoto: Aerial battle with Jadeite clones. That fight seemed to finally exorcise Makoto's demons of inadequacy, allowing her to really go for gusto in the final battle with no reservations. Before that she always seemed doubtful of her luck and abilities, but she really came into her own in that fight, showing off her moves to great effect!

Most strange/OOC moment: Drawing a blank, here.

Luckiest with the dice PC: Y'know, I have done pretty darn well on my rolls.

The Dice Bitch(TM): Mako-chan deserves to carry this one home.

Favorite PC to RP with: Ami. Timing really did hurt her participation, but I had a lot of fun with her early on, despite her having a far meaner sarcastic streak than canon Ami. Just spices things up!

Least favorite PC to RP with: I feel rotten for saying this after her giving me second favourite to RP with, but Hotaru-chan. A lot of our scenes left me feeling like I was developing ulcers - I guess I just don't thrive on confrontation like she does.

Best PC overall: Abstain. I can state my preferences as above, but it's hard to make an objective call.

OOC!

Best player overall: Isn't this the same as the last category?

Best RPer: I'll pass on this.

Omakes!

Best omake: Usagi's Lesbian Omake. Really helped flesh out Usagi's personality and a lot of NPCs. Plus, y'know, lesbian sex. Lots of it.

Worst omake: Hotaru is turned into a chocolate bird. Slightly redeemed by my forcing Shingo to burp to deflate him, the angst clusterfuck was a bit much.

Funniest omake: Tits & Ass Academy. Plus it's the only time we're likely to see Hotaru with a penis in her mouth so it's all good.

Shittiest omake: Rei is kidnapped by Deep Ones. Poor Rei-chan...

Biggest clusterfuck omake: Serial Killer Reiko. Creepy...

Other!

Favorite Misukibot incarnation, huh?!: The time she vanished utterly after Rei-chan crushed her foolish dreams?

Favorite dicebot: Rei-chan. I liked her so much, I made her a bot!

Quote from: "Anastasia"I'll pass on this one for the moment. I have thoughts here, but they're stormier and more debated for the other girls.

So, with the votes all tallied up, going to elaborate on this, now?

Anastasia

Okay.

Usagi - Her opening critical is the biggest. She turned this into an about face with the character, using it to help redefine one of her biggest aspects.

Ami - Portal battles. Those were awesome and Ami-chan finally had to stand on her own.

Makoto - Last battle with Jadeite. Just awesome effort.

Hotaru - Meeting Makoto. This set the stage for a lot of her MO.

As a curious what if, I do wonder what would've happened if Mako and Hotaru hadn't found each other so quickly and well.

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Drama.

I posted a defining moments for 4 characters, so I at least commented on other defining moments. >_>
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Anastasia
