Yes, I'm insane. Very much so. I'm considering running a Tsukihime campaign. Details are as follows:

- Fairly in tune with the book's tones. So dark tinted with a few splashes of lighter things, but mainly in theme.

- I don't have a system chosen yet. That'll be worked out if this gets off the ground floor since it'll be a fair bit of work.

- I'm leaning towards running this on the boards unless the group we get is great for IRC sessions.

- You can choose any reasonable character you want. See below.

- At least some familiarity with the Tsukihime novel/game is required. I haven't seen the anime nor do I plan to use it for this. You don't have to have seen every path or gone nuts, but there has to at least be familiarity.

Right now all I'm looking for is expressions of interest and who you'd like to claim/play. This is important since I'll need to figure out who needs to be around and alive. If you choose someone notably strong(Demon lord Arc hahahahaha) or weak (Say, Hisui), we'll work with it from there.

EDIT - I promised Bean that if this runs he can have Ciel, so consider her claimed. <_<

If you choose someone that, I don't know, DIED in the main game you're going to have to account for that. I don't mind one(Satsuki only dies on one side of the Moon anyhow), but let's not turn this stupid.

As an addendum, Satsuki's supposed to be a hella powerful vampire. I haven't played the far side of the moon yet, but if Shiki only cut her lines, Maybe she regenerated?

The entire thing is somewhat debatable - I don' remember if only her lines were cut or more, but her entire arc's a bit messy on details. If she's played I'll replay that part and work somethin' out.

This looks like a solid group. If anyone else wants to play, feel free to post but I won't make any guarantees. I think 5 PCs is a fine number to run with. Anyway, as for plot? Since we lack a Shiki Ahika's True Ending is a solid base to work with. It nails all five characters to a degree, and can incorporate elements of the other paths as needed.

Systemwise? I'm leaning towards running this mostly systemless/diceless. Trying to cram Tsukihime into one set feels like an effort in futility. The only dice I'm thinking I'll use are d10s for some sort of simple initiative scheme when needed.

So what do I need from each of you? A basic description sheet and details as needed.

Rat: You have the easy bit. Gather up Ahika's powerset, outline that and generally follow her True Ending. Don't worry about Hisui/Kohaku details yet, I'll hammer those out and get with you later.

Hotaru: Need to have a sit down with you. Satsuki will need a bit of creative work and GM collaboration to be around but it's perfectly workable. We'll get into details later.

Bean: Using most of the basics from Ahika's path and some details from Ciel's path should work fine. We'll get together, but for now finish her playthroughs and outline her powers.

Alex/Laggy: Talk to me, you two will need the most work.

Generally follows Ahika's true ending unless noted.

Takes place five-six months after Tsukihime. A long Spring Break is just beginning at game start. I'll say the exact date later, but it's not overwhelmingly important.

Once I've talked to you and we've cleared stuff up, go ahead and post your bio/power list. I reserve the right to ntoe for edits, changes, ect as required.
