Well watched the first episode of this raw and in my opinion it had a pretty fun first episode... of course it is a UFOTable series and they almost always have good first episodes for their series. The question though is whether the upcoming episodes will be worth it or not.  I guess only time will tell.

The first episode has no opening but it does have the usual UFOTable ending this time with vocals by Megumi Hayashibara. The claymation style they usually use that is. Oh and as a break from tradition of late the show actually had a next episode preview in the episode itself. Not, mind you, that much of anything was actually shown in the preview.

Vocal cast is pretty decent with a mix of veterans, Yui Horie and Ai Nonaka, and some newer talent, such as Aya Hirano and Marina Inoue, as well. Amamiya Manami's, voiced by Yui Horie herself, personality is similar to Tomo of Azumanga except with far more focus and common sense than Tomo could ever hope to have at any point in her entire life. She's energetic and unorthodox but definitely not stupid.

In closing I found it to be a decent first episode and I personally look forward to seeing where things go and yes I just copy/pasted most of the comments I made in IRC here with some fixes here as well as there. ^^;

Megumi Hayashibara? I thought she was over and done with the whole voice acting/singing thing. Think this is a comeback sort of deal or just a one shot?
