Arkanel looked at Daggedal.  "None."

Turning his attention to the brown-clad villager, Devon pulled out a small device and slipped a small disk into it before pressing a button.

"Are you familiar with the mountains around Camelot?"

[kpjam]

"Ah... depends sir... I know the mountains around the falls, but not very far west of that.  Definitely not as far as Camelot,"  The boy answered Devon.

Rackham had a grand ole time making trophies of his impressive kills.  The pelt, while they had some damage, could be fasioned into a truely splended coat by a skilled artisan.  To his dismay, he only found enough dry twigs and falamable material to light a fire for about 10 seconds in the wild.

Rackham cursed the lack of poper firewood.  While he would gladly eat the meat raw, and was in fact intending to, he wasn't sure Nirae would be of the same sentiments.

Rackahm then started making broader circles in search for material, ready to run back in the first sign of trouble.

Rakham's search proved fruitless.

"I see... very well."

Turning towards the door, Devon glanced back at the group, "I'm going to get a look at the castle tonight. I should be back before dawn."

Nirae finished gathering her weapons anyways, then sat herself down.

"Rackham! It's grassland! No sticks!"

[Carthrat]

Daggedal blinks in surprise.

"Er.. does dis guy 'ave any allies?"

There's hope for you yet! Miaka thought triumphantly. "Yes, that'll be fine. Lead the way?"

Shrugging, and releasing her hand from the grasp of the over-enthuisiastic girl, Lafiel led them out of the house.

Turning right, when they reached the road, they went a few doors down to a nice looking, two-floor house.  Lafiel walked up and opened the front foor.

Looking inside, there was a dining area, with people filling up the  tables.   Spotting an empty one, Lafiel led the girl to it and sat down.

Miaka sat next to Lafiel, smiling at her. "Let's order lots of sweets!" she chirped, her emerald eyes shining with expectation.

Lafiel flagged down a waitress, who came and brought a couple menus.

Lafiel turned to her companion, and said aloud, "Can we get two milkshakes, two orders of sweetbread, and a small plate of sweats."  She paused, and asked Miaka, "Anything else?"

Miaka held up the menu and pointed at the third page. "I'll take that." Her finger traveled from top to bottom, and she licked her lips.

The waitress, a woman in her early thirties, but appearing a little younger, nodded.  Her eyes widening slightly as she marked down the variety of deserts the young woman had ordered, before moving away form the table.

When clear, Lafiel looked at Miaka intently, her eyes narrowed in curiosity as she asked, "Why did you answer my uncle's request?
