Figment

Walking around the corner of the house, Devon caught the tail end of O'karn's question.

Stopping near the ogre, he looked curiously at the two men.

The boy looked chastised,"Well... I only really did it 'cause I wanted to climb them....  There wasn't much game or anything like that up there.  I traveled a little on some trips, but not all that much...  No one really every goes up there.

Looking at the boy who hadn't yet spoken, Devon cocked his head, "You are the one who found the hole in the drainage pipe?"

Dracos

"Bah.  And you?  Your the most knowledgable in the village?"  O'karn drew back to his full height, eyebrow twitching menacingly.

Fearless Leader
Well, Goodbye.

The brown tunic bow started to turn to Devon, but O'karn's rebuke caught his attention.  he cringed slightly, and stammered out, "prob... probably.

O'karn shook his head angrily as he turned his eyes skyward, grumbling under his breath.  'Why am I bedeviled so?  I pray to you, I bring you sacrifices, I conquer land in your name?  Why Syfier am I cursed to be surrounded by such sheep?'

Fearless Leader
Well, Goodbye.

Recoiling at the grumblings of the large creature, the boy in the white tunic had opened the door and pulled his companion through the door.

Glancing at O'karn, Devon followed the two into the house.

Arkanel stands as the boys lead Devon into the dinning room again.

"Thank you for coming, Nevin.  That will be all, Jared."

The boy in the white tunic bowed, and went into the kitchen.  "Nevin, these guest of mine from Smithtown wish to hear about the mountains."

Nevin nodded.  "Sure."

"No problem!"  Rackham stated quickly before Nirae could change her mind.
Catching the hawk, he went to ensure that the other two wolves were properly bleeding as well, then sat down, take out a whetstone from his belt pouch, and starting cleaning and sharping his scythe as he waited for all the blood to drain.

Rackham and Nirae get no breaks...

Why, oh why wasn't I born rich?

The blood drains from the wolves.

Rackham put his whetstone back in his pouch, and then cheerfully started to skin the wolves' with Nirae's hawk.  While working he absentlymindly asked Nirae, "Did you get your pouch with the jewels?  I wonder how many weapons we can buy with such..."

After skinning, he spread out the hides and took out a hammer and several pitons from his backpack, utilizing them to hold the hides down while they dried.

That done, Rackham glanced over to Nirae and saw her gathering her weapons.  Frowning he said, "You should rest.  That potion may cure wounds but not the fatigue associated with such.  Lie down, I will make us dinner."

Still using the hawk, Rackham went around gathering dry grass and any sticks if found.  Making a small pile, he lit it with the flint and steel he took from his belt pouch.  He then walked over to the pile of meat and bones and cut out the choisest cuts of meat (do wolves have choice cuts of meat?) he could find.  Using selections from the said bones, he fashioned a crude spit and used it to spear the meat over the flames.

While waiting for the meat to be cooked, Rackham went around extracting the teeth and claws from each carcass.  "Trophies!"  he exclaimed gleefully, as he tossed Nirae her share.

"Well, if this Zafniel or watever is growin' in powa so quickly that we can't spare a moment, we'd best be off tomorrow mornin'.

Any threats you can name aside from your nemeis, Orkanel?"

Daggedal leans on a wall, awaiting his answer..
[19:14] <Annerose> Aww, mouth not outpacing brain after all?
[19:14] <Candide> My brain caught up

O'karn shook his head, having already decided he had enough with these wretched sheep.

Moving towards the back of the house, he looked around there for a place to prepare to slumber.  He cared not to see another pathetic human face this day.

Fearless Leader
Well, Goodbye.

O'karn found a large backyard that ended in the lake.  A deck was attached to the house - a wooden floor outside.  The yard was fairly even, slopping gently towards the lake, and more than adeguate in seize to accomodate a dozen of his brothers.
