O’karn moves to meet the first wave of attackers.   Six columns of men were running in loose formation towards him.  The depths of the columns could not so easily be ascertained.  The periphery of his vision could tell that the yard was wide and bordered by rows of bushes that might be as tall as his knees.  Marble buildings in the distance, over the hedges, but one large,  and close building was visible front and center behind the mass of men aligned against him.  A stolen glance informed him of a single man standing upon the balcony, dressed in robes, standing next to another in a uniform similar to the one the dead men in front of him wore.  He barely noticed the sun shining brightly upon him, nor the heat of the day.

The helpless body he flings forward does a nice job of impeding three lines in the column that approached him, giving him ample range to inhibit the movements of the other side of the broken contingent of men.  While two of the attackers were smart and nimble enough to avoid the first sweep, the howls of the two that had charged blindly forward filled the air.

As O’karn was pushing back the first wave of attackers, Daggedal appeared on the place that Ogre had just vacated.  He was treated to the sights and sound of battle raging in front of him.

O'karn, skull mask lowered, roars in glee, slowly and surely, moving forward, his swiftly moving sword a lawnmower of death as he utilizes his skills to slice through as many of the troops with each blow as he can, keeping focused on not letting any of the little rats get within his rather sizable radius of doom.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Carthrat

Daggedal glances around the area, and looks up at the robed man.

Surmizing that he may be another wizard, Daggedal starts to draw as much power from the corpses left in the wake of the ogre as he can, then suddenly, with a short incantation and a single gesture, let's loose a powerful blast of necromantic energy at the man!

O'karn's great sword swings twice more, cutting down those that venture too close.  He notices at the end of the second swing, a change.  Those seven unlucky soles that lay down, dead or in agony, will be the last to perish that way.  The other solders had stopped the direct charge, and began to encircle the two. A quick count told the ogre he faced a good fifty men still standing.

Daggedal, second on the scene, glances and notices little more than the great ogre.  The well manicured lawn he found himself on offered little knowledge.  As he culled the energy from the fallen and cast a bolt of pure power towards the balcony, another twin set of blast raced towards the two comrades.  A quick look told both that the blasts would meet over the heads of their foes.

O'karn paused for but a moment, his skull mask down as he let out a raging ogre battle cry, letting his powerful lungs speak for him and chill the spines of his fledgling enemies.  Following he charged brutally towards whatever seemed to be the least stable part of the attempted circle, his blade lashing deeply into the grounds, giving them no choice but to break their order or be cut down from being too close to manuever.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Carthrat

Daggedal starts gesturing madly, binding the fleeting souls of the dead to their inert bodies and reanimating their corpses, sending the fallen straight back into battle, but against their former comrades.

As the bone chilling sound pierces the air, the necromancer bolt hits one of the oncoming two bolts of power over the soldiers creating an explosion in the air.  The other molten ball of power heads on, unabated towards the spot O'karn had stood.

The ogre moved towards his left, slashing forward over the soldiers he had taken down earlier.   Three more soldiers fell to his great blade as he blunts the attempt at encirclement. Another swing takes down four more before they begin to give the beast of a man space.

A group of soldiers break from the others, collapsing the other side of the circle as they head towards Daggedal.

As some of the fallen begin to rise, the bolt of power lands, blasting those not yet dead into oblivion, and destroying the carcasses that had begun to rise to the call of the necromancer. The soldiers that had begun to advance upon Daggedal shied back, as did the necromancer himself, losing his feet and landing on his backside.

The Ogre felt a warm draft  coming from behind him, as he was pelted by body parts.

Looking up, Daggedal sees Devon appear where he stood moments before.

Devon, appears, soldiers in front of him, with an Ogre carving a hole through a wing of them.

Daggedal continues gesturing frantically, summoning up random blasts of necromantic energy to fly at the soldiers coming towards him and overloading the spiritual energy within other corpses, causing them to explode.

Dracos

O'karn didn't slow, breaking into a full fledged charge, blade swinging and hacking as he moved away from the heat and into the warm fleshy ribbons of cleaved flesh.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Figment

Taking in the carnage before him, Devon moves to his left and begins firing as rapidly as possible at the soldiers approaching.

The soldiers, reaaling from the explosion are further befuddled by the fire of science and death, as Daggedal and Devon combine on the front troops.  Four drop in rapid succession before the soldiers redirect their efforts and start running at the two.

Remdos, the lucky man he was, materialized as soldiers began streaming past him, one stopping a leveling a sword stroke at his torso.

O'karn, moving further from his compatriots, continued his carnage, as no soldiers could stand up to him.  An shrill wistle was blown and those who had previously been imitating wheat, dove out of the way, as an explosion ripped the ground beneath his feat, sending the huge humanoid five feet into the air, along with a few corpses and soldiers who couldn't get clear.

Figment

Dashing to his left away from the soldiers, Devon shifts his aim to the man in robes on the balcony and continues firing.

Dracos

O'karn roars as he comes down grunting in slight pain and annoyance at the blast.  "Cowardly mages..."

Turning as swiftly as he can, he plowed swiftly, keeping moving erratically following the troops, his blade continuing to flash as he cleaned up the fodder. "There is no escape fools."

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Merc

Though surprised at his first sight upon materializing, Remdos' hand loosens on the arrow even as he tries to twist the bow to deflect the sword strike, despite the loss of control on the arrow as it leaves the bow.

Should the arrow miss because of twisting the bow to defend himself, Remdos will attempt to kick the man away and grasp for his dagger.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

O'karn lands, and begins a new assault.  Two dazed soldiers near him fall quickly, before a blast of fire hits the Ogre square in the chest, the blast blinding him for a second as it stos his forward momentum.
