The game is more-or-less on hold.  By which I mean, I will post on occasion, but I'm trying to coordinate, and as mentioned, I kind of fudged arrival times based on estimated post volumes.  So ... until Bjorn gets back, everyone else is moving in bullet-time.  Push your workcounts, people, not the postcounts!  :D

I am flooded with work.  I'm trying, but until the Book Group Expo finishes (June 8th through 10th), I'm under about a 180% workload. x_x

The expo is done.  Now I'm drained by [self-censorship]: unpleasant things.  I really don't have the energy to post right now.  Maybe tomorrow, or Thursday, but no promises (I'm going to try and visit my Mom on Thursday, and maybe take up smoking again).

Okay.  One more time.  I have been letting things slip.  But rather than killing the game (again), I'm going to call pause for the rest of this week.  Let's make that official instead of frustrating everyone with slower and slower posts.

Things in my life have been spiraling out of control.  This game will continue, as attempts to kill it all fail.  But it is going to nap briefly.

So....  The pre-dinner conversation can actually continue a bit, if people are so inclined -- Rez, I have Friday and Saturday (PST) off, when would work well for you to run the IRC session?

And while we're here ... feedback check?  Is there anything I could do to make this gaming experience better, or are there things that are going on that players find suck-tacular and would like to have changed?

Sorry about breaking your knees man.   I didn't realize you couldn't afford the hospital trip.

Anyhow, really, all I could ask for is just flailing when you're flailing, though I know that's hard.  A 'we need to pause a while' is fine and much appreciated generally rather than 'silent doom'.  I think Bjorn has been in much the same spot life wise, so its not like many were blinking that the game was stalled.

Either Friday or Saturday should work in the evenings.  Gimme a poke at one of those times!

Yeah, sorry.  Things have been a little frantic here what with one thing and the other.  I've been checking the game regularly, but there really hasn't been anything that I've felt I should reply to.

There's not really much I can say about things to improve in terms of keeping the game going.  In terms of how you're handling it, everything's going fine -- it's slow for the obvious and understandable reason that you can't post much at the moment.  That's life.

Unrelated note: I will be at a conference in San Diego from Nov 2 through Nov. 12.  No posting from me.
