Soulriders 5.0: Legend of the Unending Games

So at this point we've got a few booked at the hotel and a couple folks who've volunteered to help with airplane commuting.  This topic is meant to help folks share rooms so that they don't pay as much in hotel fees.

Please post if you:
1)Don't have a hotel room booked yet and want to share.
2)Have your flight plans ready, to list if you're able to go.
3)If you're able to do pickup or dropoff at a time.

Intent here is to simplify group-ups to make the whole thing work easier.

My check in time is 3 pm on the 22nd. I'll likely get down there at least an hour or two before that, just to be safe (as Austin traffic can be horri-bad). So, pretty much any time after that, I can do pick ups.

As a note: post what airport you're coming in at. I imagine everyone will be the same, but some places can make you hop a regional.

I'm driving in, so I might arrive the day before Iddy. It's a 10-14 hour drive, and I plan to do it all in one go. I'll sleep it off.

Did you ever find a roomie/make a reservation, Yuth?

If not, apparently my reservation came with two queens instead of a king due to some bad communication somewhere.

I figured I'd take that as a sign to double up and save money, and offer before I consider calling up about the mix-up.

The estimated total with tax is $684 from the reservation. I don't sleep with TV on, though I have been told that I occasionally snore.

Iddy, are you bringing a bike or a car?

Who is driving in so we can have a good count on how many cars are going to be around?

I am driving in from Houston.

I will have me 2 door 4 seater

I would rather get us all in one vehicle, but it feels kind of silly with 4 cars already present.

Technically my vehicle will seat 5.

As mentioned in the other thread, I will be bringing my bike, and Yuth's car will be utilized to pick people up from the airport.

Was wavering since I didn't want to unilaterally decide 'hey everyone it's a bit more expensive'.  Or just being indecisive.

I VOTED TODAY

I voted against. We're only 6 people, and I figured we'd have more than enough vehicles to cover that, since half of that six already -live- in texas. The only two excursions right now are tuesday/friday (about 1 hour drives each) and everything else is in town.

If vote passes, I'll chip in, but it feels like an expense that we could all do without.

On another note, regarding those excursions...caves and tubing are in opposite directions of map, and tubing is pretty close to San Antonio. Should tubing be combined with San Antonio instead of caves?

That's the exact 'welll...' I'd been struggling over for some time with the vehicle. 

Do you have any suggestions for swapping that combination? :)  *is mainly looking at tour books rather than maps, so totally admits he can miss lots*  I'm fine with switching it to be a morning tubing/Antonio (or reverse) and Caves/Something else.  But not sure what something else would be.

Sunday to saturday.  We'd be just using it for the gathering if we're going to be using one at all.

With Yuth out, we won't be getting a larger vehicle.  We'll cram into the most comfortable of our 5 seaters.  Whoever is biggest gets shotgun :P

For clarity: Iddy are you still able to pick me and brian up from the airport, or shall I make other arrangements?

Since Yuth isn't coming, I'll be bringing my car instead of my bike.

So yes, I'll be able to still pick you two up.
