You guys can have party loot or whatever, but I'm still being a loner and taking my share out of it. I refuse to check with others on how I should spend my money. And I spend my money more frequently and on more crap than you guys. Comes with the whole wizard territory.

I will not be swayed on this. On the matter of Corwin's lance, I guess the only proviso I can make is that if something is far-and-away beyond the amount of loot the party has, they can just hold onto it and not bother.

It's not like we're going to regulate your spells or anything. Geez. It defeats the point of the entire affair if you're just going to refuse to have anything to do with it.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

I guess the fairest way to decide this would be to have Merc pick, as we decided by vote originally, but Iddy is no longer here. Since I don't think anyone has changed their votes...

Anyway, here's a tabulation of our latest endeavour.

<->

HAGVA: 5993.36
Keylin: 2636.33
Githyanki Gear Cut: 34500 (Market Price, undivided.)

Crystalline Figurine counts as 'party item' due to general live-safing qualities. Pity we didn't remember it, but it's not factored in with the money above.

The spellbook is worth 4,800gp, and will be sold with everything else, don't worry. >_>

Keylin's cut is, as requested, only figured from the gear we stole from the Githyanki.

The gold above is how much gold we'll actually get when we sell this crap! Remember, you can 'buy' items from the above loot pile for 1/2 the listed price.

Though I'm against the taking of any Githyanki loot in order to prevent us from being hunted by more, higher-level freaks, if you do, you don't actually have to pay for it, I think. We can't get any money for it yet, so it wouldn't be fair to fork out for it.

I didn't factor the 5 potions of cure moderate wounds in. Let's just all take one, it's such a conveniant number!

Anyway, I want the headband of brains and the wand of invis. The amulet of natural armour appeals, but I don't really need it. I actually nominate Gourash to take it; he can't wear full plate and needs all the help he can get when raging.

Edit: To specific, the Githyanki loot only consists of 'Githcraft' stuff.

On team pool vs cut...I can live with either.

Team pool is more beneficial since I'd theoretically have more access to money with which to buy needed stuff sooner than later... but from an RP perspective, I don't quite like it, honestly, at least not at this point in time.

Keylin's more of a loner than Alvie claims to be, and would be doubly cautious since she doesn't really know you guys or have reason to trust you. And she definitely has some trust issues to make things worse.

She'd certainly be open to the idea later on though, after she's had a chance at developing some level of camaraderie with the group, but not right off the bat, not without some sort of assurances to show she's not being stiffed.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Corwin

To be perfectly honest, the blissful state of communism otherwise known as shared/party funds invites even worse arguments unless the person managing it is very, very miserable. Who deserves an awesome thing that drains most of the party's hard-earned money the most? Who's next? What if reality changes and the first guy really needs an item to compensate, such as protection from fire which was previously neglected? Even if this never turns into an overt argument, it's hard for me to picture everyone happy with this outcome.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Dracos

/me blinks.

I'll...comment when I have an idea what's going on ^^;
Well, Goodbye.

[02:54] <Carthrat> We figured Amonet could just keep her lance for free, so it didn't factor into the selling.
[02:56] <Dracos> I dunno.  I'd 'agree' with the cavaet that that probably should be her entire treasure allowance for the thing.
* Retrieving #elysium modes...
[02:56] <Dracos> Aka: we ignore that the lance is worth way more than a share or two of treasure, but instead her share of treasure otherwise is distributed among the group while she gets uberduber lance.

With that in mind, everyone gets +1198.67gp.

For a total of 7192.03 each!

Okay, Rat says Keylin gets 3,835 gp from the adventure. She wants a longbow, CMW potion, and the ring of protection. She'd like the amulet, but since she's already getting an amulet for payment, it's moot, so she won't fight for that.

longbow party half cost: 300 gp
ring of protection party half cost: 1,000 gp.
CMW potion: not counted into gp total and was already decided to split one for each.

So Keylin takes out 2,535gp, a CMW potion, a longbow, and ring out of this adventure, as well as her amulet of willpower she gets as payment.

Correct?

Bought the natural armor amulet for 4k.
