Driving home from not quite the middle of nowhere, popping a tire, removing a tire in the dark only to realize the spare isn't aired up, replacing the tire in the dark, driving very, very slowly to the nearest gas station only to find them closed so you can't get change for the air pump, driving to the next station only to find their pump busted, and then going back to the first to finally air the tire and get home.

I left an hour early and ended up coming in later than usual.

Basically I've played a game made with it a long time ago, which is why I knew about it.  I figure, if Laxius Power can be "one of the best fanmade RPGs I have ever seen" according to the Underdogs despite being one of the most mind-blowingly unfun games I myself have ever seen (and I'm pretty patient with unfun RPGs; in fact I tried the game TWICE, hoping to like it, and still had to stop playing from the crushing tedium even with a walkthrough to skip as much of it as possible), then heck. If I don't have to worry about the programming (which I can do) and the artwork (which I can't), I can probably make a decent game.

RPG Maker looks awful, and when I tried it it didn't seem much better than it looked, but if I use the mechanics well I can probably make engaging interactive fiction if nothing else.  I already mapped out a concept and everything.  Maybe someday... or maybe not.

Muffler was rusted all the way up to the catalytic converter.  Had to be replaced to pass the smog.

When your cat learns to remove its cast, so you have to go to the vet and pay to have it replaced again.  Its like she doesn't want to get better....

Hooray extra expenses.

Also, she's learned to smack me in the head with her cast, and meows just a bit louder than my earplugs will block out, so it's not like she lets me get sleep anyway.  Isn't it enough that she makes me suffer directly?  Does she also really feel the need to attack my wallet?

And Peter thinks he's going to get this cat back, while I cover all expenses.  Yeah, right.
