I did everything I needed to do during the summer to make sure this shit wouldn't happen and yet here I am, start of a new semester, no money owed and still missing all of my classes. Why does this happen to me?

Also, 5cm Per Second looked great, but I hated the story a lot. Don't the Japanese know what a happy ending is?

You know, this was supposed to be a four day weekend. A nice mini vacation. It was a piece of fucking shit over and over, with very brief moments of fun.

I'm giving a lecture tomorrow afternoon, and the evening after. I've never given lectures, I hate speaking in front of people, I feel like utter crap before and after. I'm still an undergrad.

I'm walking this curious edge between screaming as I have a nervous breakdown, or just bawling.

The other days, I feel like I chased everyone else away and that's why I'm alone.

Anyway.  I decided to arrange a party and birthday present for a roommate that everyone else forgot about (even his wife!), and it went spectacularly; I was able to use my dying computer as an excuse to ask him what parts he would buy.

We gave him a surprise party, and a new computer, and bonus, since he had a new video card (PCE, or whatever), he gave me his old one.

His old system was suffering, with either the mother-board, or the RAM being the likely damaged component.

After it blowed up my computer, I decided it was actually his old video card.  On this same day, my bank decided that 90$ - 70$ = -98$.  I forget all the other problems, but it was a landmark bad day; I ended up giving up on my old system, so now have just the laptop.  :/

I miss being able to game.
