Euphemia looks at the flying thing for a long moment, before dismissing it as a bug not worth squashing. "Lord Faintheart, if you will?" she requests, waiting for him to follow her example and toss some piece of rubble on the stairway.

[Anastasia]

A pebble is thrown again! Again two of them come from the mists, rushing the pebble!

You guys are prepared, you can shoot at 'em if you like.

[Corwin]

Euphemia picks the rightmost head to shoot at.

[Anastasia]

Euphy, could you include your combat values when you make a post? Makes my life easier.

With a lethal accuracy, Euphy aims well and directly impales one of the two flying heasd through it's eye! It bursts apart into a spray of tiny writhing snakes that plummet into the abyss!

Sacchin, you can shoot as well since I recall you readying your bow in your last post.

Sacchin, too, allows an arrow to fly forth from her outstretched weapon!

Good shot! It only grazes the flying snake-haired woman's head, but it's enough to make it burst into a rain of snapping snakes! It's gone, the pebble landing with a clatter on the stairway.

[Carthrat]

"Weak..." mutters Sacchin. "Only two? More?" she demands of the steaming, impious thing.

[Anastasia]

"Theeeey coooome baaaack," He hisses, "Doooooo that when heeee crosseesssss!"

[Ebiris]

"Flash by name! Flash by nature!" Flasheart winks bawdily at Euphemia before leading the way once more up the now hopefully clear stairs.

[Carthrat]

Sacchin readies her bow to shoot down any more of those weak creatures that might present themselves to be killed, anticipating action based on their minion's words.

[Corwin]

Euphemia likewise has her crossbow loaded and ready, though whether she'll shoot the flying heads or Lord Faintheart is another matter entirely.

Sacchin and Euphemia shoot as two more blue snake-headed women come screaming out of the fog! Sadly both girls are not crack shots this time, neither head striken as they go for Flasheart! The first goes for his chest, as if to send him sprawling out!

Flasheart, you can AoO the bold creature as it tries to hit you if you like.

Flasheart was so confident that none would dare strike at him that he hasn't even drawn his rapier since setting foot in the dungeon.

So he's not really in a position to stab anything that's flying straight at him.

The creature slams right into Flasheart's chest and side! It strikes with enough force to send him staggering to the side. There's only one problem with this - this stairway doesn't have rails or much of anything on the side to stop someone from falling off. Lord Flasheart finds himself just starting what looks to be a very epically long and painful fall!

Lord Flasheart has both hands free at least, and so tries to grab onto the side of the stairs before falling to his death.
