I have a dream that one day, men will be punched in the face not for the color of their skin, but for the awful content of their character.

Another killing shot! Both of the heads are routed in short order, turned to falling stone that plummets into the misty ravine!

"Ssssstrong ssssshoootssss..." The steamy creature quips from his perch.

Free action again.

"Again," comes the inevitable demand.

Though this repetitive labor is getting to her, Euphemia reasons that she might as well endure it a bit longer, if only because getting bitten by a flying head would be far worse. Reload, pebble toss, watch for enemies, such is her plan.

#109
Euphemia backs away from the gap, before running up to it and leaping across!

Taking 10 works, right?

A 5 foot gap is not overly difficult to cross. Getting a bit of a running start, Euphy is able to clear it swiftly enough, landing on the other side.

Sacchin follows suit, easily emulating Euphemia's motions.

Euphemia swiftly moves ahead, enough to allow the others to cross over safely, while covering them with her crossbow.

Lord Flasheart cheerfully jumps across the gap after taking a quick run at it. "Smashing good show, you two," he compliments the lovely ladies on their archery skills.

Corwin

"We are either being severely underestimated by the Dark One, or he is trying to lull us into a fall sense of safety," Euphemia responds, looking ahead distrustfully. "It is one mistake I won't be making again."

Ahead a little further, the party can peer something ahead in the mist. The platform has something gruesome ahead - a massive iron crusher, bottom spiked and bloodied. It hangs ten feet above the ground, the platform below it bloodied and dented. A few bones and shattered skulls lie in a perimeter around it. It is five foot by five foot, essentially taking up the entire square it's on.

"I don't suppose there is an easy trick to this?" Euphemia asks her freeloader. If it intends to sit on her shoulder, it might as well realize that if she got crushed, it would perish right alongside her.

"Gooood luuuuuck," The steamy creature wishes, alighting up from Euphy's shoulders and going behind Sacchin instead.
