"For the most part," Euphemia responds, seeming bored. "We've got the key, so let's proceed?"

She looks at their flying friend when she asks, "Where to next?"

[Anastasia]

"Toooouccch the baaaar to theeee baaaars..!"

[Corwin]

Euphemia does so!

[Anastasia]

When the orange red bar is touched to the orange red bars, both vanish away! There are now several gaps in the great, thick rows of bars! Not great ones - about a foot wide if not smaller, but perhaps something to look or wiggle through!

From the mists to the south a walkway rises up, connecting this eastern path with a path that leads away from the center, towards the south.

Needless to say, Sacchin tries to squint through the bars.

Peering inside, Sacchin can see a winding, spinning portal in the center. Near the portal are several motes of glowing, ominous light.

Sacchin tries to reach her hand through the gap!

No good. Sacchin just can't get her arm through the bars at all! Despite all her wiggling it's still just a little too tight to really reach into there. It would take some effort or another try or something.

If that isn't an invitation, then Sacchin doesn't know what it is, and she decides to start heading towards the southern pathway.

"Lets see if we can't find another key then, shall we?" Flasheart agrees as he heads off after Sacchin.

Her crossbow reloaded, Euphemia brings up the rear.

[Anastasia]

Thus the trio goes to the southern walkway! They check way south, there is a heavy wooden door in the way. A cursory check shows that it's locked. It looks reasonably sturdy, but not made of iron or anything.

Sacchin flings some debris against the door!

[Anastasia]

What debris? Seriously a moment, did you lug some from the junk room and not tell anyone? Throwing stuff from your backpack? What?
