Lucasfilm phone screen went pretty okay. Turns out when they advertise for a python web app dev, and list multiple frameworks near the bottom of the description, they really mean $X web dev, where $X is one of those frameworks. And not the one I have experience in.

But I'm being considered for another Python-related position there, apparently. Yay?

Today I cooked lobster eggs.

It was nice.  I hadn't made them in quite some time.  They turned out well.

Lobster... eggs?

Yes, it is a dish that has no lobster in it.  I believe the story goes that many people took the coloring and texture and assumed it was lobster eggs and the name eventually stuck.

It is a mixture of browned garlic in olive oil stirred into crushed tomatos, simmered down into sauce before being mixed with 5-6 scrambled eggs and cooked down further.  Take and then spread over toast (I prefer french here).  I was lazy and used marinara sauce instead of crushed tomatoes, but it came out quite well anyway.

Just went into Ulduar (new raid in WoW). First boss is fun as all hell, you basically ride motorcycles, mobile catapult bomb launchers, or tanks and beat the crap out of a huge tank. Very fun fight. Couldn't get through other bosses though, dps too low or something. One of the bosses, XT-002 Deconstructor, has the most hilarious voice ever, I just have to say. Its basically what you'd get if you fused a giant robot with Elmyra. And it thinks you're new toys to play with.

My guild wiped like all fuck, and we only downed one boss by the end of it, but awesome fun raid so far.

I think the trip went alright, just smashed my knee.  I think I still have a job to head back to.

Just saw the new Star Trek movie. Though I'm not that big of a fan of the series the movie was awesome. Man, definitely a movie that I would watch in theaters again.

Being awarded a $1500 scholarship I didn't know about because the Political Science department unanimously loves me.

Being paid by a professor to edit a book manuscript.

Being abused by name as a 'Go bug them, they know their shit' person when student asks professor about study group.

Just as a update, the stunning knockout redhead and I are official boyfriend/girlfriend.

She's a M.D/model/girl next door wrapped in a tall knockout redheaded package. Yeowza! :)
