[21:14] <Kotono> roll 1d100
[21:14] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d100 and gets 42." [1d100=42]
[21:16] <Kotono> Wayland wanders about the village for a time. He comes to an open field between two houses, no trees at all to block the sun. Sitting in the field is a woman, cross legged. She's in her 20s, ashen blonde hair almost white. Yet most of all she only sits in name. IN reality she floats about a foot off the ground, occasionally bobbing up and donw in the air. Her eyes are closed, brow furrowed
[21:16] <Kotono> and focused.
[21:20] <Wayland> Wayland blinks and cocks his head, looking at her speculatively. "Hello."
[21:21] <Kotono> Her legs uncoil, going to stand up as if floating in the air is no thing. She now stands on firm ground, only then her eyes opening. "A man...?" She cocks her head to the side, "In Aralla? One I don't know, no less?"
[21:23] <Wayland> "Right in three." Wayland grins. "I am Wayland."
[21:25] <Kotono> She comes over, seeming to walk on air as much as the ground. "Ah. Are you cold? You're blue all over!" cocking her head to the other side, "Do you need healing?"
[21:27] <Wayland> "No, actually, I'm quite comfortable, and I've always been blue." Wayland nods.
[21:29] <Kotono> "Oooooooh...!" Her mouth opens up into a big 'o', pausing to cock her head again and then mutter something unintelligable. "Oh...oh..!" Suddenly she smiles, "I get it! You're up there!" She points, "I mean, your dad or something was from up there."
[21:34] <Wayland> Wayland briefly looks up before blinking and laughing at himself. "Yes, one of my more recent ancestors was some form of air elemental. What about you? I see you are floating."
[21:38] <Kotono> "Oh, that just happens somtimes. I forgot to dismiss a spell." Laughing as well, "Have you had dinner?"
[21:39] <Wayland> "I have not, and I've no idea where to find some food in this village. Would you care to assist me?" Wayland asks.
[21:40] <Kotono> "I think I have some stew keeping warm at home," Offering her hand out, "Want to come over for dinner?"
[21:42] <Wayland> "I'd love to." Wayland smiles as he takes her hand.
[21:43] <Kotono> Wayland is taken to a house in the middle of the village. A mostly well kept garden surrounds it, though occasionally there are patches that look well in need of trimming. Inside are comfortable wooden chars, polished and somehow giving. "Sit down and I'll bring us some," she calls.
[21:47] * Wayland makes himself comfortable in one of the chairs, taking a look around as he does so.
[21:53] <Kotono> It's well enough kept house, if a bit dusty. Not much in the way of decorations, but everything's nice. He doesn't have long to look before she returns, carrying a bowl of stew. She goes to sit right next to him, "Men are so rare in Aralla," she murmurs, "Especially since Janson left there's one less."
[22:10] <Wayland> "I've noticed that there are few men around here. Why is that?"
[22:12] <Kotono> "Oh, it's Jannath's will that women are closer to the earth, as we are closer to her. Men can't hope to hear Jannath as clearly or partake of her wisdom." Smiling now as she puts an arm around him, "You know."
[22:17] <Wayland> "Mmm, I've always been more of a sky man, myself. Speaking of knowing, I never caught your name." he says, looking at her.
[22:25] <Kotono> "Oh? I swore I told you..." Frowning as she mutters and looks to the ground, "Oh! I'm Esnah."
[22:29] <Wayland> "No, I think I'd remember a name like that, Esnah. You have a lovely home."
[22:30] <Kotono> "Mmm-hmmm," Esnah curls closer to Wayland, "There's an entire evening to talk and explore things."
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake
